Looking at this petite, elegantly restored Victorian gem, you wouldn't guess that she's been gracing one of South Africa's liveliest and safest streets since dusty 1898.

Most of her double and dormitory rooms have their own bathrooms and access to a magnificent, sun splashed balcony, overlooking the Long and Leeuwen Streets.

All dormitory rooms are equipped with security lockers. There is also a self catering kitchen, pool table and TV area, small internet cafe, as well as a travel desk.

We are situated on Long Street in the heart of town. Long Street is renowned for its nightlife and there are many bars and clubs which begins right at our doorstep.

There are also 7 museums, more than 20 Provincial Heritage Sites (including several historical cathedrals, churches, mosques and a synagogue) nearby as well as a multitude of antique shops, various art galleries, 1 outdoor and 2 indoors curios markets, Turkish Baths (with sauna, massage & swimming facilities), 2 movies theaters, City Bowl's biggest park, several banks & ATMs, post office, Cape Town's main bus, mini-bus and train station, and so much more.

All these attractions are within 10 minutes of the Hostel.
