"did have a nice atmosphere... nice tv room and balcony, bar was good, good food... even though the bar was noisy this was not hearable in our room... even though we did have a toilet in our room (right next to the night…"

About Kimberley Hotel Backpackers

We offer a range of accommodation to suit all needs for the discerning traveler at the most competitive rates. We are situated close to town and a 30 minute walk to the Waterfront .

Our accommodation establishments offer a wide range of services including: hot breakfasts available from R15.00 per person, airport shuttle service, laundry facilities, and all linen is provided with towels available at a charge of R10.00 per change. We are able to give expert advice on activities and tours from shark cage dives to the best local bars and restaurants

Accommodation Information

The hotel boasts a conference centre for up to 40 delegates, a coffee shop with internet access, as well as the famous old bar with original woodwork.

From the hotel, guests can quench their thirst admiring Table Mountain, or take a two-minute walk to the District Six Museum. Being on the edge of the city, it is only a five minute walk to Parliament and the Cape Castle, and very close to the famous Cableway. The hotel offers 12 bedrooms sleeping 40 pax.

All bookings are prepayable in full over peak periods -please enquire- A refundable R50.00 key deposit is payable on arrival and refunded with the return of your key and receipt
