Are you looking for a travel experience that will give you the freedom to explore amazing South Africa whilst giving some of your time less fortunate children & communities in need?

We invite everyone, from students to adults, to join us. We have hosted volunteers from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds, and our team is here to ensure that your volunteering experience not only matches, but exceeds your expectations.

Like many previous volunteers, you can join our Volunteer Surf School and teach less fortunate children how to surf. You will have lots of fun and adventure and get to know interesting people.

A Breakaway Lodge
All guests will be staying at the homely Abreakaway Backpackers Lodge. The lodge is centrally located near Cape Town City Centre, based in Muizenberg- one of the best surfing beaches.

The place sleeps a Maximum of 12-18 people. You will be sleeping in a dorm-shared room. (If you require your own room this is also available at a different price)
You will be supplied with fresh, 100% Cotton bedding and a clean Towel on arrival. The lodge is close to the beach so there is no need for Transport.

A'Breakaway Backpackers is minutes away from the friendly surf break of Muizenberg Main Beach and its various cafes and stores. It is also handily located for exploring the Cape Point national park and surrounding towns such as Kalk Bay, Simonstown and Fish Hoek.
