Close to cafes, cinemas, supermarkets and museums. Centrally located just up from trendy Kloof Street, 5 minutes walk from vibrant Long Street, 5 minutes by taxi from the Waterfront and Table Mountain Cableway and within easy reach of Cape Towns famous beaches.
Family friendly, we are generally considered to be one of the quieter hostels in Cape Town. Facilities include leafy garden and courtyards with barbeque, fully equipped kitchen, cafe with internet access and the Blue Skies Travel Centre for all travel arrangements. Some of the rooms have good views of Table Mountain. We also provide comprehensive information; arrange airport shuttle, inexpensive car hire and tours.
We recycle garbage (with your help), use solar water heating (backed up electrically) and can arrange much needed tree planting in local townships should you wish to purchase carbon offsets.
Established in 1993 Zebra Crossing is featured in various travel guides including Rough Guide and South African Handbook. Footprints South Africa list us in their top ten and Lets Go Recommends.
