Liked: Location! Exactly in the heart of the city, it is also funny to drive into the hotel parking lot through the pedestrian area :)

Disliked: some tinny cracks on the wall. (after a new paint it will be fine)

Liked: The location is good/very central, maybe hard to find in the beginning, because the street is hard to see from the pedestrian area. McDonald's is nearby, it's a 2 min. walk to the tourist information and 10 min. to the train station. Our room was old, but clean. We got a triple room instead of a double ensuite, so we had more space but three single beds. It was a long way to the elevator, dryer cost 1 euro/day - but it was a rather new one, so I would rather pay than be in a hostel without a dryer at all. It was very silent, but Maribor is generally a silent town. Would recommend this hostel, even though room prices could be a little bit cheaper.

Liked: The location of this hotel is superb; take 2-3 steps and you are at the one of the old squares of Maribor. The hotel has many rooms but they don't have enough parking places nearby. If you are lucky and arrive on time, you can have one at the hotel.

Liked: Fantastic location! Very central to everything. I would advise staying here rather than on Pohorje Mtn. The staff were all very friendly and nice. The hostel was warm and comfortable.
