Liked: The staff were enormously friendly and helpful. The communal kitchen and communal balcony led to meeting other guests and having interesting conversations, as well as making new friends. The place was spotlessly clean and our room was of a much higher standard than we expected -better than many 3 star hotels we have stayed in.

Liked: Unfortunately the owner had got his dates mixed up and wasn't waiting for us - they don't have someone there 24 hours so it's worth emailing to check they know you're coming. Having said that, he put himself out to make sure we were accommodated when we did get in touch with him. It's very close to the centre, above a good restaurant and has an excellent selection of free teas, a fridge and free internet in the communal area. The room was basic but clean and quiet, fine for what we wanted and compared well price wise with budget hotels.

Liked: The owner guy was extremely helpful, and the facilities were awesome - free internet, tea/coffee, kitchen etc. Had an ensuite double room, and it was better than many hotels we stayed in even had a satellite tv in room. Best place we stayed.

Liked: This Hostel is only a 2 minute walk from Slovensko Cesta which brings you to all attractions of the city. Easy to find once you get your bearings. The area is safe and the hostel was very clean. Marjan made us very welcome giving us maps and suggestions on what to see in the city. He also encouraged us to sample the massive range of Tea from Around the World in the self service kitchen! The free internet came in very handy. The only complaint we had was the noise in the morning from workmen on the street but the hostel cannot help this.

Liked: This hostel was fantastic, the location was excellent, the facilities the cleanest I have seen, the staff were fantastic and most helpful. It was a wonderful weeks stay and I would not hesitate to reccomend to anybody.
