Liked: The hostel had an amazing atmosphere and was situated in a fantastic area. It was easy to meet people and the hostel organized nights such as all you can eat BBQ and a cocktail party. They have loads of information on the surrounding area in reception and you can hire bicycles which i would highly recommend doing - it was a great way to get around the city. The best hostel I stayed in whilst travelling - top marks!

Liked: The five bedroom dorms do not have the cell doors on them, so the novelty isn't there for that. But it is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in with lots of little chill out rooms and stuff. Also, they have special deals for guests everynight in the bar/ restaurant - like €5 all you can eat bbq, and cheap cocktail night (you can't go wrong with €3.20 Long Island Ice Teas!!!) Will definately be going back here!!

Liked: Hostel is clean and plesant place to stay and staff are friendly. Only bad thing about the room we booked was the private shower wasnt working so we had to use the shared one.its easy to meet and socialise with other people here down at the bar and location is great

Liked: Nice looking hostel, very comfortable but really struggles to get guests to mingle. Despiately needs curtains on the windows in the rooms the sun wakes you at 5.30 every morning even if you had a big night

Liked: I liked the novelty of staying in a coverted prison, but I felt that the staff could have been friendlier and that there wasn't a very good vibe for meeting other travelers. All in all, it was fun (although the climb into the bunk was a pain, literally, with the metal bars!). It was very clean though, which is always very much appreciated in a hostel!!

Liked: I was in 5 bed dorm it was really small and stuffy, but the twin cell rooms looked good, funky hostel, cool vibe., inbetween train station and main town, easy to walk

Liked: Its a great location for the train station, though a bit of a walk from the main town, and in a bit of a dodgy area. The hostel itself was lovely and clean, and the prison theme was quite cool. Its a tad expensive for your run of the mill backpacker, but you get free internet and breakfast so that makes it worth it.

Liked: This hostel is fun with a nice art gallery and good breakfast. The rooms are small but very clean and well decorated. The only downside is how expensive the internet is to use - it is extremely expensive for a place where most people will want to have access to it!!!!
