Liked: a nice place to stay, onli no air conditioner for my room, i booked ensuite room for 5..and room is so small, really like prison

Liked: Surprised that private double actually consisted of two high bunk beds with danger of falling in the night and constantly bumping head getting in and out - really lets the hostel down. Staff incredibly helpful and cheap bike hire a real bonus and great way to see the city. Located close to bus and train but 30 minute walk to town. Disappointed that they did not serve food on weekends and that there were no curtains on the window meaning an early wake up call.

Liked: Interesting place to stay and a good location. Not the cheapest, and some rooms emphasize style over function. Still, a worthwhile stop. Breakfast is excellent, especially the hot chocolate!

Liked: Very beautiful hostel. Nicely located close to the train station, that's all you need when carrying a backpack! Staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Too bad it can be really noisy at night because of the bar next door... and the rooms are small and get quite hot. Would still recommend going there though.

Liked: Rooms were simple, but clean, There were activities both nights. They set up a screen for the soccer games. They offer a good price for lunch which they serve till 18:00. They have a nice atmosphere and plenty of places to hang out - little cafe rooms, restaurant, hammock area outside. The internet connection was good and it's free if you have your own computer. It's about a 10 minute walk from center of city, and near the train station. Bathrooms very clean. Good free breakfast. Fantastic coffee/drinks machine.

Liked: Fantastic hostel located 10mins from the main attractions of Ljubjana. Brilliant artwork on the walls of the rooms (cells). Very well appointed and well looked after. Great food available and bar on site.

Liked: BED BUGS!!!!!!! We woke up in the morning and there were bed bugs crawling around everywhere we are still recovering from this i had them all over my back and my girlfrind had them all over face and arms, legs with a BAD reaction to them. this also resulted in quite some expence to us as we had to get all our clothes washed and have our back packs fumigated.They must have been there quite some time we researched them online and they were fully grown adults. None of our lockers had catches on them they were all broken.

Liked: This place is perfect....and the restaurant downstairs almost gives you decent meals for free!! It was perfect apart from the saftey issue in the cell I stayed in. While it certainly looked cool, the ladder to get to the bunk was really shot and this can be a health and safety issue...esp if you need to go to the toilet at night. I can only speak for the cell i stayed in...every room is defferent. The vibe was fantastic and the staff, they were on happy pills without going overboard like many other places do. This hostel definitely gives me more to remember than the town itself!

Liked: I was there on a Tuesday night when local bands play live music at the hostel. It was fantastic - an intimate environment and GREAT music. Great hostel for the money, cool rooms, clean, good breakfast, and convenient location right near the train station.

Liked: Very nice experience! Don't expect some big room, don't forget that you will stay in a cell. Very helpful staff and very nice facilities.Don't miss the barbeque event!!!

Liked: It had character and was close to the station. It also had good facilities for example, bar, restaurant, games, internet (though charged) and bike hire. Staff were friendly and helpful. However the room we stayed in was very dirty. There was blood stains on the mattress which was disgusting. The room was also very stuffy as it was 30deg and only had a small window for ventilation. Would have helped to have a fan installed. The common bathroom was not very clean and smelly. Would not recommend staying here if comfort is important!

Liked: Very very loud place. If you want to sleep, this is no place for you. I think it was expensive and not value for money. Decoration was neither functional nor estetical. Also beds were not easy to get in. Even there were some kind of aircondition system, our room was hot like a sauna.

Liked: The cell rooms are really cool! At two in the afternoon you can have a tour of the other cells as they are all designed by different artists. The staff are really friendly, the restaurant and bar are reasonably priced. The hostel is within walking distance of the train station and the city centre.
