Liked: Celica was a very clean and comfortable hostel to stay in, the facilities are perfect for travelers on a budget. Small kitchen ideal for making a meal, lovely communal areas and option to have breakfast included

Disliked: Internet was not working when we arrived and it is cheaper to book online than booking on arrival. Making our second night more expensive. Staff were at times, not so helpful

Liked: it's an awesome place in a great strange and funny location surrounded by those silly cool buildings :) I had a great stay, it's close to everything and the 24 hours reception is great considering the strange train-times sometimes..the staff is available for you at any time and the hostel is just seriously easygoing (i guess as the rest of Slovenia?)

Disliked: it was all good and easygoing, they might have to fix one of the 2 locks at a shower/toilet in the room but yeah..it didn't bother me

Liked: The room was quite nice and well designed. The location was good too, really close to the main train station.

Disliked: - Door to room did not shut properly. So you could hear all the noise coming in from the corridor - The corridor echoed loads so small noises were extremely loud - There were supposed to be quiet hours but the noise carried on all night. - The bathroom stank, was dirty and hadn't been cleaned for days - No toilet paper in the men's toilets - Not a good place to cook your own food. It was fairly dirty (some unidentifiable decaying yellow liquid in the bottom of the fridge, old food, mouldy saucepans, stinky cutlery draw) - Not a good place to meet new people, seemed to be more of a place for 35-year old guys on drinking trips.

Liked: The staff were some of the friendliest that I have encountered, the cells were a fascinating place to sleep for the night, and it was wonderfully located near the old town and the train station

Liked: The atmosphere was really nice - friendly people and nice place to sit and relax.

Disliked: Well...my roommates were kind of noisy but you kind of need to expect that when you're in a hostel.

Liked: Comfortable despite small rooms and showers; could almost pass as a hotel. Laidback without being too hippie - could be for both families and youth. Nice welcome touches as well: welcome e-mail with information on the hostel and the city a week before check-in, a small chocolate.

Disliked: Internet did not work for an entire night.

Liked: Unique, very bohemian feeling about the place. Good selection of events and plenty of space. 24-hour reception made life easier

Liked: many activites great place to meet people however it was too noisy at nights almost impossible to sleep and also the beds are a bit hard to climb.If you want some quiet time definetly its not the place but if you want to meet other travellers its a good pleace.Ah also its a little far from the city center but very close to main train/bus station.

Liked: ONE OF THE BEST HOSTELS I HAVE STAYED IN!!! The cells are really well decorated, ours had a circular double bed which you had to climb a ladder to reach (like a bunk bed), great location, really helpful staff, free breakfast, lots of events on and cocktail parties.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Friendly staff and very airy and clean rooms. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Fun themed nights and good food from the restaurant. Good location.

Liked: The look of the hostel inside and out is interesting and fun. I enjoyed sitting out on the patio for meals, drinks and entertainment. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: I didn't like that the rooms were co-ed and that it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website. The first night I ended up sharing my room with a young man and both of us were very surprised to be sharing a room with the opposite sex. The beds were only 1 foot apart and there was no privacy at all. I was also awakened every night after the posted quiet hours by very loud groups of men and women.

Liked: The character and amenities of the hostel are great however the hostel was very loud at night time due to the echo in the hallways.

Liked: Nice kitchen facilities on the top floor, complementary 30 minutes internet use and nice clean bathrooms. The location was good too.

Liked: A very accommodating hostel. For the most part really friendly and helpful staff. Good price for food, was a great place to watch the world cup. All you can eat BBQ offered a few times in the week!!

Disliked: A little bit of a walk from the center, but well worth the walk to stay here.

Liked: Easy place to meet new people if you´re intrested. Good facilities to eat or have a drink. Good breakfast and nice lounge rooms.

Disliked: It was hard to find the place from the railway station. There was not too many signs which was mentioned on the webpage.

Liked: This was a very interesting place to stay and somewhere that had a good atmosphere. It is very close to the train station and also fairly close to the centre of town. The staff were really friendly.
