Liked: awesome atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. amazing ambience and right next to metalkova the alternative night spot of ljubljana.one of my best hostels ive stayed in. the day trips especially the karst and coast and the skopjcam caves and lake bled and the gorge and lake bohijn were the best day trips and most recommended. the always smiling and friendly staff make up for any bit of inconvenience.

Disliked: the 12 bed doms were a bit too cramped. could have stuck some bunk beds in there so people can freely walk around.

Liked: I booked a shared dorm with only 4 people but when I got there they changed me to a 12 people dorm. They told me that the 4 people dorm was under renovation. They should have told me that some days before. The location is good. No lockers for the backpack. Only small lockers. Good breakfast. Nice and helpfull staff.

Disliked: The bathroom was not so clean, but at least they had a male and female bathroom in the 12 people dorm.

Liked: Outside chill out area was awesome and some of the surrounding street art was fantastic

Disliked: The ensuite bathroom was pretty disgusting and is in serious need of a revamp. There was very little room for luggage in the room so everyones bags ended up in the middle of the room.

Liked: the location is amazing - we were in the heart of the young cool (cheap) area. there was a large group of us, 9, and we spilt over a 4 bed private and 5 beds in larger dorm, it was clean, comfortable, and one of the nicest looking hostels i have stayed in. You can eat at the hostel in the outside area which is good value. We arranged to stay here again at the end of our holiday after we got back from lake bled - we got there at 8pm unaware we had to be there at 2pm. they did call but i had no battery on my phone and they gave our beds away. we were pretty gutted as we loved staying here and they were very apologetic - within 5 mins the lady at reception had organised us to stay at a different and cheaper hostel and were being picked up to be taken there. We were happy with the outcome!

Disliked: hard to leave as it was so nice!

Disliked: despite reserving for months in advance - our room was not ready and we were shifted to another hostel

Liked: The staff was very helpful.

Disliked: We decided to splurge and stay in a private cell for the night. It was really uncomfortable. The beds in our cell were lofted with a pretty high drop. We didn't sleep well. Of course the room was small (it was a jail cell afterall) and I felt very cramped inside. I didn't like being in our room at all and was very happy to check out the next morning. It was also quite warm and stuffy.

Liked: It's big, it's got very cool designs, there are regular events and there are lots of people here. The breakfast was also better than the average hostel. Overall, a really cool place to stay.

Disliked: The disadvantages are related to the strengths - the size of the hostel and large number of people actually make it harder to meet people. The reception desk also seemed totally overwhelmed and there was a lot of waiting for checking in/getting information.

Liked: Great atmosphere, nice coffee shop and breakfast, free Internet and welcoming staff.

Disliked: I don't feel safe in this area and not in this hostel. There are many drunk people and this area of the city is dirty and ugly

Liked: The inside was lovely. It was very secure. They gave us free internet, wifi and on their computers which was an added bonus. It had very good secure parking.

Disliked: The location. Arriving at night outside was not fun!

Liked: Atmosphere and concept of hostel. Students times :)

Disliked: LACK OF BATHROOMS IN ROOMS. No air condition. Friday and Saturday - can't sleep because of parties in pub till 5AM with lot of drunk guys.

Liked: very imaginitive decor, individualised rooms, very nice breakfast

Disliked: shower - shower head in ladies awkward and too low and nowhere in cubicle to hang clothes, towels etc

Liked: Great atmosphere, with helpful, friendly staff.

Disliked: No chance of getting to sleep on Saturday night as it's in a very loud area so plenty of noice around until about 4am.

Liked: 24 open, the staff is great and smiley, we had some fantastic get together party, making our own drink, it's also very clean. You can use the kitchen too. they have activities every night. and cheap and good meals. Today its easy to find cheap accommodations, but Celica has definitely value for the money you spend.

Disliked: I'm not sure there was AC, but the hostel seemed to be a little warm. We dind't have problems since it was a rainy weekend. Also I found some bedbugs when I woke up but I'm sure that was an accident or our roommate just brought them, because the hostel is very clean, and they were still on the walls not in the bed.

Liked: Friendly & helpful staff, very clean facilities (bathrooms, common areas, however some toilets smell badly), clean towels and linen provided, nice breakfast & breakfast room, airy dorms despite no aircon, noisy outside but respectful guests. (Camp) beds quite short however and no window shades in rooms.

Disliked: Security was poor - no attempt is made to check guests' identities. One evening at 1am I returned to be told that my room+locker key had been given to another guest - I wonder if this is a common occurence? I was given another guest's room+locker key to access the dorm (!), I didn't take anything from that guest's locker and nothing was taken from mine but can you trust 100% of guests 100% of the time? The Night Receptionist did apologise and said things "would be sorted out at 11am at check-out", which was too late for me but in fairness he couldn't start waking up guests... which I did... And I held on to my key after that...

Liked: the style.. and most def the breakfast... beter breakfast in a hostel..

Disliked: they had a concert night, and a lot of ppl who didnt stay at the hostel came in and out as they pleased...

Liked: The location was perfect due to the ease of walking to sites of interest.

Disliked: My girlfriend highly disliked the showers/bathroom especially considering the price of our room. I, however, did not have this same experience in the men's facilities.
