Liked: Hostel is not in Ljubljana proper, but in Brdo, a quiet suburb. This makes it a little far from the city, but there are good restaurants and bars nearby and the transit system runs from 5 to 23 (approx). Ljubljana buses no longer accept money for rides, so make sure to pick up a bus card in the city (much easier from the central bus station than from a trafika which may not exist near the hostel). The private room was very clean and the facilities were nice, especially for the cheapest hostel I found in Ljubljana. All in all, a pleasent place to stay.

Disliked: Minor mixup with the check in: hostel owner works with a taxi driver (who is also the night reception), who picks up guests from the train station, so make sure to check email for his number and instructions, or it will take a bit for them to get back to the hostel. Biggest problem was bicycle rental: bikes were in a state of disrepair. Better option to rent from the city of Ljubljana, which has public bicycles, but the nearest stand is a fair walk from the hostel area.

Liked: the staff was nice

Disliked: We got used bedsheats (i think they forgott to change them) and also was our private room a walkthrought for the staff to get to the washing maschine. the beds were quite old in our room, the other rooms had good beds.

Liked: The hostel was very peaceful as there were no other passengers at the time of my stay. There were also all the facitilities needed, including computer and kitchen. It was good that breakfast is included.

Disliked: No reception and no other passengers. Location was also quite far from the centre.

Disliked: There is NO free transfer. They said they provide a free transfer from train station to their hostel. When they sent us a confirm email, they said, "When you get to the train station, call me (Marco). I will be picking you up with a white Mercedes Van." BUT when we called, he sent us a taxi, and we had to pay 6 Euro in the middle of night. We picked this hostel because they said they have a free transfer service. We would arrive in Ljubljana very late and worried to find the hostel. But after all, there is no such a service and make us fool. And there was no toilet paper and anyone in reception for three days. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSTEL. Think again.

Liked: It would be a good place for a group of people with a good central kitchen and supermarket closeby

Disliked: For a couple that had booked a private room it wasnt very private at all, the owner kept walking through our room in order to get into the kitchen every half an hour one morning. There was no Wi Fi, no tv and the lights didnt work which weren't a problem but these were all things included in the price. The owner knew about these things but didnt tell us, but we still had to pay full price.

Liked: good bathrooms, fairly spacious bedrooms and kitchen. good pizzeria downstairs. it was orange!

Liked: I liked Marco alot, he was nice and friendly and was always willing to help you out if he could, And he was always happy! I liked the bathrooms and room as well and there was a nice cosy area where you could chill and watch the tv. I met a lot of fun people there and i loved staying there.

Liked: Really nice place, very friendly owner- he picked us up from the train station at 1am. Free breakfast, only a 30 minute walk into the centre of Ljubljana.

Liked: Marko, the bloke who ran it was a perfectly good guy (but not the patron saint as made out on previous reviews - from reading them you would have thought that a mutant of Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi had been reincarnated and forgone their obvious virtues to instead run a hostel in Ljubljana) . The kitchen was usable, clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable as hell. This hostel is in a nice, if out of the way, location near to desirable amenities.

Disliked: Not much to do in terms of communal area except listen to 18 year old Antipodeans complain about the weather and be as arrogant as to be expected - but that is more an occupational hazard of travelling as opposed to a problem with this hostel.

Liked: Met good people, so if I hadn't i don't know how good a stay it would have been.

Disliked: DO NOT GET WASHING DONE THERE!! They guy had my wasing for over 36 hours due to his own lack of organisation and kept lying saying he'd have it in the next couple of hours knowing I had no clean clothes left. He was so bad about it that some girls were leaving and he knew they were and failed to get their washing back to them, they had to leave it all behind.

Liked: The manager of this hostel is called Marco and he is so kind and helpful. He even picks you up from the train station and drops you off again when you leave. The hostel is only 20mins walk from down town and is really easy to find.

Liked: Marko the owner was lovely. Organised a taxi for us as we arrived at 2am in the morning!

Disliked: Location wasn't great but there are good transport links. Don't use taxi's!!!

Liked: Got a free shuttle here however had to pay 2 euro travellers tax on top of accomodation. One free meal which was average but cant complain too much. Was very quiet if thats what your looking for. I was keen to met people but that wasnt the case here. Easy to walk into town or hire bikes.

Disliked: paying 2 euro travellers tax. didnt get any information about what to do or see in town. was expected to sleep in double bed with my friend which we didnt mind too much but my own bed would have been nice.
