Very friendly owner who gave me a lot information about the town. Really good hostel to stay in Ljubljana!

Very helpful manager, on the edge of the town so into the sticks took a few minutes walking, as did getting into town on foot. Good bus connection.

felt like home & after traveling for many a months it was ideal!! marco is helpful beyond means and his contagious giggle is just wonderful.. highly recommended but you do need to be patient about the one shared bathroom.
20 July 2008
Very chill without °supervision° from reception. Comfortable, colorful, nice place to meet other travelers. But -- there is only one toilet for 14 people, and sharing it became a bit tricky. Still worth it, though.

The owner not only picked us up from the station, but also drove us around to find a cashpoint and some pasta sauce! Although he was not around much, he gave us good information about the city etc on arrival. Clean, nicely decorated hostel with great kitchen facilities! Felt v at home here, would recommend it.

The friendlyness and the style of the owners

Its like renting someones house. Above the pizza shop and with its own kitchen. Its small and a little out of town. The bus is along every five minutes and only cost a euro so its not really a problem. Marko is ace however. He picked us up from the station at 2am

Marko was a great host, and the hostel is above a great pizzeria which was nice and convenient!
14 June 2008
It was in a quiet area.

just one bathroom for 10 people; no separate toilet
30 May 2008
Free pick up from train station even when we arrived at almost 2am!
21 May 2008

Marko is a ledgend and its one of the greatest hostels ive stayed at after 8 months of travel around South America, USA and Europe, chilled out and nice couches and tv, hadnt had for a while, if you in Eastern Europe make sure you go to Slovinia and this hostel and drink the green beer (Lasko).

A very calm and agreeable site
1 October 2007

8 September 2007
free washing, bright colours, station pick up, small and friendly, great restaurant downstairs! groovy flower lights in the bedrooms.
31 August 2007
Pizzeria just below hostel, near to bus stop
10 August 2007
It was on a pleasant, quiet side street about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. The dorm we were in was spacious, airy and had new wooden bunk beds, with individual reading lights. There were drawers and a wardrobe for people to put some of their stuff. A bonus was that it was upstairs from the Pizzeria Azur - reasonably priced pizza/pasta restaurant with very generous portions.

This hostel was vey welcoming and clean. Lots of spaces, good common room and kitchen. The only problem is that it is a long way in the suburbs. TAKE THE BUS. dont walk like we did - it took us ages, and we got lost in the suburbs in the dark because the streets have crazy names. Apart from that the hostel was nice, adn Niky, the hostess, lovely.
