Liked: Not exactly a hostel, more a few rooms for rent within a large family house in a Ljubljana suburb. The positive thing about that is that it's very quiet and cosy, and there's a lovely garden which the owner is happy for you to make use of. It was great, sitting outside, soaking up the summer sun with a coffee or two. There's a large Spar supermarket less than 5 mins from the property, which is also the location for the 14B bus terminus/start point into the city centre. The place is spotlessly clean, and it's there's a good bathroom with power shower

Disliked: Worst thing about this hostel, is there's only one bathroom between all 3 rooms. So lots of annoying waiting and leg-crossing in the morning. (Actually the owner said on the last day we could use their bathroom on the top floor, but why didn't they say that from the outset.) The hostel location would only suit travelers who don't mind catching the last night bus from the city centre at 10.30pm! It's too far to walk at night though we did walk in one day (35 minutes). A taxi back from the centre cost us €10 at midnight, but on the first day we arrived from the station we were ripped off (apparently) with a night fare of €23!!!!! Don't try arriving for the first time by bus in the dark. It's a totally safe suburb at the 14b terminus, but finding the place without knowing exactly where it is would be near impossible.

Liked: Super clean, very friendly family, picked us up from the station on our arrival. Fast wifi. Clean, well stocked kitchen ( herbs/spices) big rooms.

Disliked: a bit far away from the city centre.

Liked: It was just outside of the city in a lovely area, and the journey to town was only a 10 minute bus ride away. The owner and his daughter even came and picked us up from the train station for free.

Liked: The friendlines of the stuff is to be appreciated! The room was very clean and perfect for a couple (enough space and storage area). The location is perfect, situated in the nearby area of the historycal center and also a parking place :)

Disliked: The showers were not that clean but good enough for a quick shower after a long trip...but hey ..it is a hostel :)

Liked: Everything is perfect if you have a car, it's a 10 minutes drive from the city center. We drove there so don't know about buses, etc. Beside this mention, perfect place!

Liked: Personal pick up from town, after booking at 11pm. Very friendly welcome & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable.. The price was excellent. Offered to drop us at train station in he morning, if need be. It is far from the city if you have no car, but the helpfulness & kindness of father & daughter make it very easy!

Liked: Very helpfull stuff, even of a late arrival they accepted us.

Disliked: No sign on street, we arrived using GPS and 1.5 hour walking around the house to find the hotel - no sign outside. We called the reception after we got lost in a rainy weather, and we been 3 minutes from the hotel, and the receptionist couldn't describe us how to reach he destination. After 5 minutes of talking, she understood where we are - and then we came to sleep, the time was 02:00 after midnight.

Liked: The room has an air condition. Kitchen is awailable for common use. In general the place was good.

Disliked: It was quite far away from the city center. But if You come by car, it is OK, around 10 min to drive to city center (lots of traffic lights :))

Liked: Hostel is run by a very friendly family who make you feel immediately at home. Superb, clean accomodation just a bus ride from the city centre. Free internet. The family are incredibly helpful and hospitable. Would definately stay again next time I'm in Ljubljana. Highly recommended.

Liked: The property was located in a very nice family suburb of Ljubljana, slightly outside of the town centre, but easily accessible by car or bus. The staff was extremely friendly. The house is beautiful as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. The quality for the price is excellent. We were three guys traveling together and it was perfect.
