Liked: Good location - close to old town.

Disliked: Really not very good value for money - we ended up booking fairly last minute, otherwise if you're staying for more than a night or two then there are much nicer private apartments in Lubjlana for similar price. The showers weren't a particularly enjoyable experience - flooded and dirty from pretty much first thing in the morning, and no proper hot water for the 4 nights we stayed there! Bottom line is we absolutely LOVED Ljublana, and would recommend it to anyone, but would definitely NOT stay here again - and I've stayed in over 100+ hostels and guesthouses in my travels so am being objective!

Liked: location is great, really in the city center of ljubliana

Disliked: We reserved for the one ALIBI 14 hostel- but were transferred to the other alibi hostel- well, we had to walk obviously, then the other hostel did not have a kitchen, which was the reason why we booked ALIBI hostel- cleanness was not there- and the radiator did not work, we had to sleep with 3 blankets each in order to warm our bodies at night! and well.. I am now over and over bitten by bed bucks! not the very best memory of ljubliana- at least, the city did convince me!

Liked: central location

Disliked: loud, security questionable (door left open lots, CCTV on windows suggests break ins previously), staff didn't seem to care that wifi concked out (we stayed two nights...the wifi worked for a few hours in all this time). You'll get better valuenfor your money elsewhere.

Liked: Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Brilliant location for the city centre. Felt secure. kKtchen and bathrooms kept very clean. No smoking and no problems with noise even though our room was right next to the kitchen - which was very handy for and early morning cup of tea

Disliked: Nothing really. Except I thought we were getting a room with private facilities and we didn´t get one, but then we weren´t charged for one.

Liked: Great location in a beautiful city. It's situated right near the main square and not too far from the train and bus station.

Disliked: The hostel was very dirty. There was only one shower to share between everyone in the whole hostel, and as the hostel was fully booked this proved a problem. Not only were there queues for the shower, it was also really dirty and the whole room soaking wet. There was damp and mould all over the ceiling of the bathroom, and in general just a horrible experience. The staff were friendly but not that knowledgeable or helpful as we have found in other hostels. Overall this was not good value for money and if I was to return to Ljubljana I would stay elsewhere.

Liked: Check-out possible 24/7, I did mine at 1 am and took the night train out of town. There was at least 1 working computer, waiting time only about 1 hour. Location close to the old town to get some mind relaxing beer and get out of hostel for a while. Price is pretty low, but the place is not even worth it.

Disliked: Couldn't really recommend the place to anyone. First of all, it was ''overbooked'' when I got there, and had to walk twice as far with my stuff to another of their ''Alibi dorm hostel''. It was very unclean, facilities in bad shape (broken toilets, computer, etc), expensive laundry (5e+5e). Furthermore, some teens were making noise in the corridor just outside the room door well past midnight and the staff couldn't care less.

Liked: Excellent location for center of town and for railway. We were offered a new room that had recently become available and it was exquisite--in an older building but all modern fixtures and beautifully decorated, including gorgeous photos by the host's wife. Friendly, helpful staff. Great place.

Disliked: nothing. It suited us perfectly.

Liked: Bien ubicado cerca de la estacion de tren y del centro, habitacion limpia te dan toalla, hay cocina e internet

Disliked: un poco ruidosas las habitaciones que dan a la calle, la recepcion funciona a partir de las 9 y nosotros llegamos a las 7:30 por lo cual nos complico un par de horas

Liked: It is well located, close to both the city centre and train station.

Disliked: The communal area is a tiny kitchen with four chairs around a small dining table plus two computers which makes it very difficult to meet people or to relax in the hostel.

Liked: Nice clean room, very close to station and center

Disliked: we had not a nice room , our room was attached to the common room and kitchen wich mean all night sounds ( drinking and playing cards) so we could not sleep at all. Early morning people started to use the common room so again we were awake

Liked: Very clean and the staff were friendly. Not too many rooms so the kitchen is always available to use, with free internet. Relaxed atmosphere and no curfew. Would recommend!

Disliked: Only one shower between 6 rooms, but not really a problem.

Liked: Right in the city center, and near the main train and bus station.

Disliked: NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! As a result I had to have the window open, which had no screen. Therefore the night consisted of flies and constantly being awoken by the noises on the street. Needless to say I got little to no sleep.

Liked: The location is very good, in the center of Ljubljana, close to all the main places. The hostel is not big and very cosy, creates the feeling of an appartment. The bathroom is very nice and clean, with hot water. There is kitchen and fridge. The staff is nice and friendly. In the hostel was quite, so everyone could sleep well.

Disliked: The hostel is situated on the 2nd floor with no elevator...so if you have a lot of luggage and stuff, it can be difficult to take it upstairs.
