Liked: We liked the perfect location, the free internet, the breakfast, the ladies in the canteen who let us have breakfast very early in the morning before the opening.

Liked: The rooms were massive and had a large locker for each person in the room. We requested a double room but they told us it was a mistake on the website and that they dont have any doubles so we were given a triple room to use which was fine. The location of the hostel is very central and easy to walk everywhere. Supermarkets are close by and a nice bakery across the street. The kitchen was very basic as expected at hostels. Another great thing we discovered was the free walking tour which is advertised and it was fantastic to get an overview of the city. All in all a very clean and good place to stay great value for money.

Disliked: They didnt have a double room as per our booking. and the kitchen was pretty crappy and didnt have a lot you could work with.

Liked: The rooms were in university dorms. The rooms were old and the matresses a bit worse for wear, but you get what is expected for the price. The shared facilities were kept clean, but they are still old.

Liked: Good location - Ljubljana is a beautfil and fun city!!

Disliked: The property is very big - an old school type - dorms, a bit too old. Have to share bathrooms and showers - showers not nice and also there are mosquitoes or bed bugs. Also as the hostel is so big, be prepared to wait for use of internet.

Liked: 24hour reception, and really good location. Breakfast included. Wardrobes in room with keys to lock your stuff away. Internet.

Liked: Breakfast is included in the price. Staff was friendly as well as other travellers I talked with. 5 min walking to city center is always a huge plus.

Disliked: Didn't like to atmosphere too much, but if you're into bigger complexes, it should do the trick. I didn't find the rooms too cosy.

Liked: Good breakfast and great location close to station and old town. Kitchen facilities a bit crowded when lots of people staying, but perfectly adequate.

Liked: Decent breakfast. Near the station and town centre. Nice big room, comfortable,

Disliked: No character. Difficult to meet people as its such as big place.

Liked: Accomodation was affordable and well-situated between the train/bus station and Old Town. We were pleasantly surprised to detect free WiFi in our room. The showers were extremely clean and well-maintained in block B level 1 - we noted that the showers on other floors were not as recently refurbished. Rooms were not air-conditioned, making it really hot during the day. Clothes dryer didn't work very well. Some cubicles in toilets perenially smelt of pee.

Disliked: No air-conditioning, smelly toilets, ineffective clothes dryer.

Liked: Does what it says on the tin, friendly staff and pretty clean. We weren't at the hostel enough to meet people, and didn't notice a communal area except the kitchen so only rated average as a 'Fun place to meet people'.

Disliked: So big it lacked the personal touch of the previous 3 hostels we used on our travels, but we can't say the description didn't imply this!

Liked: Nice staff, okay rooms, only a few steps to the central station and some steps more to the central city.

Disliked: That we didn´t get permission to play on the table tennis-table.
