Liked: It is a university residence. It is surrounded by forest and really near from the city centre. Even it has Eduroam Wifi.

Disliked: Everything was nice.

Liked: It is a short walk from the hostel to the city centre. The staff were friendly, the room was fine although we asked for a double room and got a twin room. There are kitchens on every floor and the breakfast is superb.

Disliked: It isn't the best place to meet people as it is very big and a bit impersonal.

Liked: I really liked the atmosphere here. I always felt comfortable and safe. I traveled with a friend and my toddler age daughter and it was welcoming for her too. I like the setup with kitchens and several different lounges for use in and outdoors. The breakfast was great too! There was no AC but the windows open wide to get air flowing through the room and by early morning it was much cooler so that I could sleep. Location 10-15 min walk to center and 20-30 min walk to train/bus station.

Disliked: I discovered bed bugs :(. We booked two nights and the first night I got into bed late...pulled back the bed cover and found 2 bugs in room 164. YUCK! My friend and I asked to switch rooms which the staff did no problem but we still were not comfortable but since it was already 1am we decided it was better to hang out then to find another hostel at that time --we didn't sleep much. The other room seemed to be without bed bugs but we also got our money back for night 2 because we weren't comfortable sleeping in the building anymore :(. we moved on to hostel park the next night.

Liked: Not far from the centre plenty on offer in terms of trips and things.

Disliked: Shared bathrooms were awful, sickening and made you feel dirtier then before you showered - they were not checked throughout our whole stay, and if they were then someone is pretty lazy about cleaning. Also lots of small children on trips it seems - so not great for teachers on their school holidays

Liked: It's very big and spacious, facilities are good.

Disliked: there's no double bed, even if you order double room, it's still a triple room.

Liked: A bit strange really. Think it might have been a hospital previously. Now it's some sort of boarding school, open to travellers in the summer. A few kids/teens stayed there, so probably not a party place. It's not close to the main draws, but Ljubljana is such a small town that it's still just a ten-fifteen-minute walk to the main square.

Disliked: A bit far from the bus and train stations.

Liked: The location.

Disliked: Rooms were very hot, no air conditioned, staff unfriendly and too much noise of the cleaning ladies at 7 in the morning.

Liked: Decent location, the rooms felt secure and were reasonably priced

Disliked: We paid five euros each to have our laundry and it came back over a day later than we were told it would, leading us to worry about if we would even get it back in time before we left. When we complained about this a second time, they picked it up for us, and it transpired that it was literally a 1 minute walk away from the hostel which made the whole thing seem a bit ridiculous. There were mosquitoes everywhere and the staff were sometimes a little rude.

Liked: AWESOME 3 euro breakfast - so much food at the all you can eat buffet including meats, eggs, bread, cereals, salads, fresh fruit, yogurt, museli, tea, coffee, fruit juice etc etc. Location is ok and staff friendly

Disliked: Very basic room with no character and in creepy uni halls setting. very dirty bathrooms and often lights didn't work in the toilets, no soap etc. cheapest room is on the 5th floor - there's no person lift at all, and the baggage lift only goes to the 4th floor

Liked: Does what it says. It's kinna like a college campus. very clean. helpful and friendly staff.

Liked: I thought it was great that our room was already ready when we arrived at 7am when expecting to use the left luggage instead. Breakfast was great and well worth the extra Euros. This really looked like the place to go if you´re younger and wanting to meet new people on your way round euope.

Disliked: I wouldnt recommend this to people who are wanting a quiet night as it really is the place to meet new people and get out on the town! This wasnt as cheap as other places in Europe and could have been cheaper.

Liked: Breakfast was superb! Also, our triple private room was surprisingly spacious.

Disliked: Wi-fi didn't work too well in our room (no problem in lounge, though)

Liked: Location was decent. Short walk into town center. Lots of computers with free internet

Disliked: We couldnt turn off the lights at night.. made sleeping tough. The top floor doesnt seemed to get cleaned at all, but other floors were ok.

Liked: Inexpensive and free internet.

Disliked: It was approximately a twenty minute walk from the train station, fairly dirty (there was actually a clump of hair in the hallway that looked as if it had been ripped from someone's head), and the location was quite isolated.

Liked: Private room v cheap. Kitchens at the end of each floor. 2 computers with free internet on the end of each floor. Cheap, really good breakfast.

Liked: The building is an old hospital, and it makes the hostel different, over all because the high floor was almost empty. Funny. Staff is really nice and helpfully. I think it has many activities to do but we didn't have time to discover them.

Disliked: It wasn't very clean, and there aren't many bathrooms on each floor.
