Liked: Cheap rooms, free wireless.

Disliked: We were on the top floor and our room was boiling! No fans, and even with the window right open, we couldn't get a wisp of ventilation!

Liked: Finding hostel from train station was a nightmare the only signs to the hostel are painted on trees in the nearby carpark. Rooms were very stuffy and ventilation non-existent making rooms feel like a sauna. The breakfast offered for 2 Euros was excellend and was close to the city centre.

Disliked: Impossible to find especially at night and no maps or information offered to travellers at hostel. Seemed more like uni accommodation.

Liked: would have been ok if no bed bugs.

Disliked: woaw! I had to leave for another hostel that night after midnight when I discovered there were BED BUGS in my room and refused to stay. The guy didn't apologize and certainly made no effort to deal with the problem.... I bet he just gave the room out to the next person!!! At least he was nice enough to call another hostel for me where a room was available!

Liked: It was cheap, perfect for the budget traveller

Disliked: The location was ridiculous and quite hard to find with poor signing to the property, the basement floor had no kitchen on it and was noisy from furniture in the dining room being scraped on the floor and people playing a loud piano down the corridor at ridiculous hours.

Liked: This place is great! Amazing value and a nice buffet breakfast is included. Location is perfect and the staff are very helpful. Free internet too. Only issue was that we were on the 5th floor which was lots of stairs!

Liked: The staff were really nice and helpful. The rooms and building are nice and spacious, there are lots of bathrooms on each floor and lots of computers on each floor, the showers were great too!

Liked: It was tidy despite its big size and the staff were very helpful

Disliked: There was only a lift for luggage, which went to the fourth floor and my room was on the 5th. But putting in a whole new lift for people would be difficult and costly

Liked: The rooms are fairly cheap, but being student halls you do get what you pay for. Whilst still very close to the city centre it is more like a 10 minute walk from Dragon bridge then the 2 minute walk advertised

Liked: This hostel is the university accomodation, and all I can say is that I'm glad I'm not a student there! Although there seemed to be cleaners, the bathrooms didn't appear to be very clean, particularly over the weekend. When we arrived we were told there was only 1 key for all 5 people in the dorm, and we were worried about having to leave the door open at times as there were a lot of people going about. However, it turned out that there were more keys, so we felt a bit more secure, but it could do with lockers in the rooms. The breakfast was very good value for 3 euros. The hostel advertises that you get a free towel, but when we asked, we were told that that's only for people in the private rooms,rather than the dorms. Having said that, he did give us towels when I showed him the booking print out. Although it's far from the best hostel I've ever stayed in, it is very cheap (you get what you pay for) and it is only a short walk from the centre of town, so I'd recommend it if you aren't looking to meet people and if you aren't expecting luxury!

Liked: I like that it was pretty central, it was quiet, clean, a lots of parking places and, of course, for a little money, we have a "all you can eat" breakfast". Thank you Hostel DIC.

Liked: good for the money and great location. It looks like an old converted boarding school so is a bit big and empty feeling meaning it lacks a bit of atmosphere. Good facilities but no restaurants or bars nearby.
