Liked: Nice beds, great staff, great location, VERY high pressure showers, good wifi, clean little kitchen,

Disliked: no common room, so difficult to meet people. otherwise, no complaints!! Oh, the washing was expensive (8 euro), but almost same price as laundrettes in Ljubljana, so i guess that just makes Slovenia expensive.

Liked: we got a relatively large room.

Disliked: the staff was extremely unhelpful, they gave us wrong directions on two occasions, and they wanted to charge me twice, for a night i wasn't going to stay.

Liked: The location was quite nice on the canal edge and fairly near to the central station. It was, however, quite a lengthy walk from the centre.

Disliked: One member of staff on the main desk was rude and unhelpful. She didn't care about her customers and only wanted to chat with her friends. The luggage room which was just a space in the back which was open to the road was very unsafe and the reception woman just replied 'we will not take any responsibility for your luggage.' One toilet/bathroom between one room was not enough.

Liked: The location was very nice, alongside the river and close to the nice places in the city (old and new town). We could see the river from our window. Also we could rent a bike for just 4 euros a day. The room looked nice and although we had booked we room without a shower, we got one with a shower and toilet (free of charge).

Disliked: The bed: it had a board to support the matrass. It makes lots of nice...

Liked: Rooms were kinda interesting, I liked the setup with your own light and little compartment for your head, also a fridge in the room (bit warm) but the kitchennete was useless as the stoves didn't work. Free internet. Fine really, nothing majorly wrong with this place, but forgettable.

Disliked: Staff were so grumpy all the time. Not one of them managed a smile the entire time I was there. Also I overheard them a couple of times giving people a hard time when they turned up looking for rooms at the last minute; it's a hostel, what do you expect?! Cooking area was pretty gross, next to reception and really small. Hostel didn't contribute to my enjoyment of this city really, just stay for the bed.

Liked: It's a great location, lovely staff, very secure and quite cheap. We were staying in a 4 bed dorm and as there was only 3 of us, it gave us the chance to meet new people every night which was brilliant.

Liked: The rooms were very big and clean. And the location was really good, walking distance form the city centre.

Disliked: nothing,it was all fine- one thing would be just cool: the hostel could have some public space (a kitchen, a lounge, or stg like that) so that travellers may get to know each other

Liked: Very good central location, the staff seemed nice and helpful. There was a small kitchen and washing facilities.

Disliked: You could hear noise from other guests talking outside your room. We were woken twice overnight from guests leaving/arriving. The showers are not adequate, the shower head broke and hot water runs out only after 2 people have a shower which meant some of us had to have a cold shower. The luggage storage room is small and insecure. There were also some health and safety concerns of the beds. The thin mesh holding the upper bunk bed was split in two and looked as if it could split and hurt whoever would be in the lower bunk.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable, the room and hostel in general was clean. The location was awesome - seconds from the Dragon Bridge, and all the bars/cafes, etc on the riverside and a few minutes from the train station

Disliked: Kitchen was tiny so had to wait a while before we could use the hobs. Very thin blinds

Liked: We had an absolute ball at this hostel. The staff were extremely helpful not only about the city but about transport, general concerns and recommendations for other places for us to visit. They were always willing to give advice and help out. The rooms were clean and the other people there were all respectable and friendly. It definitely attracted a good group of people for the three days we were staying there. Thanks for a great visit.

Disliked: There really wasn't a lot I could fault. The shower wasn't working but these things happen and it was fixed the very next morning.

Liked: It was close to restaurants & shops and was within 5 minutes walking distance to the main square. Within ten minutes walking distance to the train station & very near to the castle. It was clean and friendly & the rooms were neat & spacious.

Disliked: The street it was on was unlit at night and was not signed very well which provided some difficulty in finding it at first but this was minor.
