Liked: close to the center

Disliked: We payed extra to have a kitchen in our room, unfortunately it wasn't a kitchen but only a cooktop. Not pans, no sink etc. So it wasn't worth the money!

Liked: The location was good, you could walk everywhere

Disliked: Upon on arrival the hotel staff was not exactly friendly or helpful. Our room had mould in the corner, you couldnt close the window properly. The walls were paper thin...so you would wake up all the time from noises. The shower head was broke, but worse there was only hot water for a few minutes and the lady told us its the only bathroom for the guests...All in all a little money needs to be spent to fix up a few things. The kitchen is too small to prepare/cook a meal.

Liked: Really, really easy to find, despite arriving at 2 in the morning. The bedrooms were lovely. We went for one with an ensuite which was just perfect. Free internet was very fast, a laundry service and a small area where you could do a little cooking (but not much). Staff were friendly and spoke very good English. Luggage storage was free, but not locked and seemed very insecure. Great location, just by the old town and only about 1 min walk away from a huge supermarket.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The staff did try and help solve the problem of our lost booking and offered us free bike rental. Good location, 2 mins walk from centre of old town. Far enough that it was quiet!

Disliked: They lost the booking. Instead of staying in a double room we ended up sleeping in a laundry dorm room.

Liked: Good location right next to the dragon bridge. Nice spacious, bright room. Wifi and internet access was useful.

Disliked: Very small, dark, awkward to use kitchen for the size of the hostel. Hot water wasn't reliable resulting in a cold shower or two. Staff could have been a bit more approachable and less noisy early in the morning.

Liked: Comfortable room in an excellent location - just 5 minutes walk and you were right in the middle of town

Disliked: Shared bathroom was dirty, shower was freezing!

Liked: facilities were new and clean. the rooms looked exactly like it did in the photos. Large room. Kitchen facilities were good.

Disliked: We were not told that the hot water was from a boiler so we had to wait for a further 2-3hrs for there to be enough hot water for 4 people to shower. Location was slightly hard to find and directions were not clear.

Liked: Nice place in a very central location. Small and quiet, which can be both good or bad, but since we were tired and had to get up early it has to go down as a positive for our purposes.

Disliked: No complaints really.

Liked: The location is great, right in the centre of everything that you need in Ljubljana, bars and restaurants and sights. Rooms are always clean which is a bonus.

Liked: Cheap, looks new and clean. Good location.

Disliked: Sheets tore easily, bed and pillow too soft, wasn't told I would be sleeping on an extra mattress (not that I minded).

Liked: Centrally located and easy to find not far from the centre or nightlife.

Disliked: It didnt really have a communal area as such, no common room. Just the reception and accommodation rooms

Disliked: it was absolutely not clean, neither in the rooms nor in the bathrooms (mould alarm!!)

Disliked: Staff were not particularly helpful and did not really speak well of their country, There was a private party on there the first night so we were not allowed to use the internet or the common area.

Liked: Central, friendly staff.

Disliked: The pictures of the rooms didn't match the real rooms. No visible identification of the Hostel.

Liked: The location is great 5min walk into town and its really clean. The 3 bed dorm is a bit cold (although I assume they turn the central heating on when its officially winter). The kitchen in the main hostel is under the stairs is pretty small (only possible for 1 person at a time to use) and the TV was broken when we went, but oveall its the cheapest and cleanest for its location. Wi fi good in common areas.

Disliked: Staff are still a litte frosty (warmed up the second time we stayed) and hostel was rather cold.

Liked: The location was great, right next to the dragon bridge and riverway. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Sadly both staff I encountered were abrupt bordering on rude and not overly helpful - perhaps its a Slovenian thing as all other previous Yugoslavian staff in hostels could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Disliked: tiny common room + kitchen. Rude staff

Liked: Clean. Very helpful and nice staff. Location excellent.

Disliked: No soap in the bathroom, or hand towels. I think that it is a basic need to wash hands with soap after using the toilet!
