Liked: It was quite noisy with doors slamming and someone outside cutting paving stones far too early in the morning. The staff were very helpful. Room smelt smokey. The internet wasn't very reliable

Liked: It is more budget hotel than hostel and the room was a good size and clean. The meeting area is on the top floor and has TV/ Washing machine/ sofas. I only went to the area once and didn't see anyone else.

Liked: Ljubljana – Hostel ParkPros:Reasonably close to centreCons:Expensive for a 2 star hotel.Very noisy in corridors at night. The main fire door slammed shut loudly. Also the doors in the rooms were very noisy too and could be heard when other inconsiderate guests slammed them. So if you’re looking for a good nights sleep, forget this place!

Liked: The hostel is actually a division of a hotel, and the shared rooms appeared to be on the top (12th) floor which had nice views of the city. Spacious rooms, and our room had very large lockable cabinets, even though lockers were not meant to be available. Wifi is only available in the reception area downstairs but there are couches and a few tables there so it's comfortable. There's also a common room with a TV and washing machine, but you need permission from reception to go in there.

Liked: The hostel is a lot like university dorm rooms, ie. not that clean. The bathroom (which is inside the rooms) had a pungent stale urine smell that forced us to keep the door closed. At night, we had 2 older drunken Spanish men trying to force their way into our room first with key cards, and then by body slamming the door. They continued to knock on our door for a couple hours, but we were on the 12th floor and didn't want to cross their paths, so we waited for them to stop. They have cameras in the elevators, but apparently none on the top floor.....

Liked: Great view, it is on the top floor of the hotel (12th floor). Only a 7 min walk to the town square and shopping, also 10 min walk to the train station. One receptionist was kind of stinky to me but all the others were really nice. They have laundry there but it was expensive, 6 euros to wash and dry one load. They did let me use their luggage room and lobby while I waited most of the day for a train and that was nice.

Liked: Good location within walking distance to everywhere. No common room for backpackers to meet but it is in a hotel as well as a hostel so thats nice. Has a restuarant and bar, and they will hold your luggage for free before/after check-out. Does have a self-service laundry room upstairs which was helpful.
