Liked: The owner was very friendly and once you know where your going it's a short and easy journey by bus into town.

Disliked: Our private twin room was very small with creaky and swaying bunk beds. The room was pretty dirty, the beds weren't made up and our towels were like rags! We were sharing a bathroom and toilet which was also dirty and we didn't use. We had called 24 hours ahead to arrange a pick up service from the train station because we were arriving at 2am. We were assured that someone would be available if we rang when getting off the train. We rang the hostel repeatedly with no reply and ended up getting a taxi.

Liked: The staff was very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure that they can help you. The kitchen area, as well as the room, was very clean.

Disliked: The mattress in our room (nº 5) wasn't very good, so the first night was a bit uncomfortable. I think it hasn't been changed in a while, and it desperately needs to be thrown away. The location is not very convenient, since it'll be impossible for you to walk there if you are coming with a lot of bags; however, a taxi will charge you €5 or less from the central station, so it's not THAT terrible. There are also buses nearby. Although helpful, a lot of times the staff wasn't there, which was a bit bothersome if you needed something. The room didn't have A/C, only a radiator and a fan on the roof, which hardly affected the scorching Ljubljana heat.

Liked: NOTHING!!!! A RIP-OFF!

Disliked: I do not recommend this hostel at all! Bad points: 1) The sheets have holes. 2) The room was "En suite" but I had to share the bathroom with the other room. 3) The blanket was for one person (we were 2) and when we asked for another one they didn't want to give us an additional one. 4) The place is horrible 5) the room was full of things from a person that usually lives there (they asked us not to touch anything!) 6) Extremely expensive for what they offer.

Liked: nice room, quiet when you wanted to sleep....a good set up.

Disliked: it was a bit far from town but when you got used to the buses it was ok. its more that a 20 min walk from town...more like 30..and i walk quick...but thats no big deal.

Liked: Fun, friendly place to stay in Ljubljana to meet other travellers. Very good price as well. Staff were very friendly. Supermarket just around the corner, which is great when you have a kitchen to use - definitely helps to save the pennies.

Disliked: The location wasn't ideal, but for the price it didn't really bother us. Rooms got a bit hot and smelly in the summer heat.

Liked: Nice people, both the staff and the other costumers. Small kitchen for everyone to use, with fridge, deep refrigerator, microwave oven too.

Disliked: The bed was not too solid..anyway we did not fall on the ground! :D Also, quite often there was nobody at the reception...

Liked: very clean and friendly staff always willing to help.

Disliked: Kitchen not big enough to accommodate all guests when preparing meals, and not enough equipment for the amount of people staying there. The lighting in the hostel is poor at night very dim around stairways .

Liked: Nothing, apart the fact it was the cheapest in the city...now we know why.

Disliked: Everything: very far from everything. Bathroom is disgusting and very low on hot water, after a couple of minutes in the shower, light turns off by itself. And about the twin beds: they were HOMEMADE and holding together with glue! I was sleeping on top and was very afraid of seriously injuring the traveller sleeping under myself. Also, the place stinks.

Liked: The hostel is great! the staff, more than that, was really friendly and always trying to help. The only point is the location, a little bit far from the center... around 35 min walking from the train station. But there is buses, three lines, that came here, and the ticket is just .80 eur (+2eur to buy a transport card).I would go back for sure!

Liked: It was cheap in comparison with the other hostels in Ljubljana. It was also quiet and close to bus stop. They say, that downtown is 10 min walk from the hostel, which is not true, it is at least 20 minutes of fast walk. Anyway I was satisfied.

Liked: The hostel is pretty far from downtown, it requires a bus, but it is easy to get to on the bus. The staff is nice and the private rooms are small but clean. There is a small bar and kitchen which can be used, which is helpful. Its a good place to stay, you just have to spend more money on bus passes.

Liked: It's family run and the family were really nice to me and my friend. The only thing is that we thought it was a 20 min walk from the city centre but it's much further, you have to take a bus. It's very cheap though and there's free internet which was great.
