Liked: They had a nice breakfast and kitchen area. They also had fresh fruit out all the time! Also, the dog that was there :)

Disliked: The internet. It is very slow and didn't always work. Also, they turned the heat off accidentally one night.

Liked: Vela Veselova was awesome. Easily the BEST customer service I have ever had at a hostel or hotel. My wife and I mentioned that we wanted to find a place that sold potica so we asked the woman working reception.... Long story short, she went out, bought us some potica, but it in a nice bag, and left it on my bed.... My only complaint is that I didn't get a chance to thank her.... THANK YOU!!!!

Liked: Friendly young English-speaking staff. Hostel was warm throughout, during very cold weather. Excellent free WiFi. Good central location. Free breakfasts were generous.

Liked: Everything! Location Staff Ambiance Security Cleanliness the Bathrooms have heated floors all the beds have personal lamps and power points fresh towels and linen on arrival There is useful information taped to the walls everywhere for day trips, train times, weather forecasts, where to find food Fast internet - WiFi works everywhere they have a good system for late check ins All in all this place rocks

Liked: The staff is very helpful and friendly. The bed is not shaky and comfortable. It is one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed!

Disliked: The floor of the room sometimes produced noises and shook the bed when people walked on it.

Liked: Great hostel with very helpful staff, clean facilities and a good breakfast in the morning. Defintely one of the best hostels I've stayed in so far!

Disliked: It is quite a walk from the train station but apart from that there is nothing really wrong with the hostel.

Liked: Amazing hostel we loved it. Staff were so good and welcoming. We were only there for one night but wished we could have stayed there longer. By far one of the best hostels we have stayed at on our Europe travels so far.

Disliked: A walk from the train station but only a 3 euro taxi so no problem

Liked: This hostel was great! While not right in the thick of things, its only about a 5 min walk in town. The staff were all really helpful and nice. I appreciated the shower/ WC setup. Not many hostels get it right. I really liked the locker system and the beds with sliding compartments. Meant I could keep things close without worrying that they would fall out of bed. :)

Disliked: There didnt seem to be much effort into helping guests mingle. I overheard that there was a common room somewhere but didn't see one while I was there. Most guests seemed to congregate around the kitchen anyway.

Liked: The best hostel I've ever been! I strongly recommend. Friendly staff who informed me about the free walking tours around Ljubljana. Very "personalised" 8 ppl room, I felt like staying alone/private. Nice breakfast, and fresh apples provided! Free coffee, tea, milk, juice available! Very clean bathroom.

Disliked: For being more comfortable while taking a shower, i would recommend to have some more "clothe hanger"s in shower bath.

Liked: Great place to stay. Has kitchen, nice clean rooms and showers, lockable trunks under the bunks. The breakfast is average but nothing to complain about since it's included in the price. The walk from the train/bus station is definately do-able, about 25min when carrying bags. The hostel is a really short walk to the main part of the city, and in a nice area.

Liked: One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Beds were very cool; offered shelves for storage which made it feel like home. They didn't go the cheap route. Staff were awesome! So personal and available. Definitely stay here.
