Liked: Very nice hostel!!! Very modern. in every dorm, you have a huge locker to securley store your luggage. common room and kitchens are very spacious and nice. Close walk to town center.

Liked: Near the centre (Ljubljana is rather small anyway). The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere, the kitchen! If you go to ljubljana on a budget, stay here!

Disliked: There were fellow travellers sleeping in the same where I was having breakfast. No problem with that, it's just that the room wasn't big enough for everybody!

Disliked: Directions from the station could be better (how would you know where is west at night?)

Liked: Nice hostel in good location, approx 20 minutes walk from train station and even closer than that to the old town. Staff were helpful, beds were very comfortable and a basic breakfast was provided for free. It seemed like a good place to meet people, there's quite a nice common area.

Disliked: No lockers were available and there was no soap in the bathrooms.

Liked: Nice atmosphere, building with character. Nice areas outside to sit and relax or eat. Very good location. Very spacious rooms.

Disliked: Quite a noisy building due to being old (noisy doors and floors etc when people moved about in the night), but got used to this. By a road and train, so quite noisy at night if had windows open.

Liked: Great staff, met a lot of great people here. Cheap laundry (5 eur), got it all neatly folded back. Wanted to go raftig, the staff was really helpful with arranging. Breakfast included and the location is just few minutes from centre. 100%!

Liked: It was very modern and very well kept, also spacious. The rooms were air conditioned too which was a big plus. My favorite part was that they had an outlet, cubby, and huge drawer for each bed.

Disliked: Hard to find.

Liked: nice big rooms, free internet. when you pay for laundrey they do it for you which is nice.

Disliked: breakfast was a bit poor - just bread and condiments and cereal with warm milk. a toaster would be appreciated.

Liked: At hostel prices this place provides good facilities and quite a special feel - it's in an ancient residential villa that is in the kind of disrepair that is still charming - will need major renovation though in about 5 years!

Liked: Absolutely value for the money. A really good basic hostel that makes you feel relaxed, and doesnt leave anything to hope for. Friendly, flexible and peaceful.

Liked: This hostel was great! It was so clean, and since it was a slow night, my friend and I were alone in a 6-bed room and had our own bathroom, which was great. The only complaint we have is noise. A group of men came back around 5am and were so loud, and of course were situated in the room directly above us. It took almost an hour for them to shut up. Also, around 7:30am, the desk worker and another renter got in a shouting match about a bill, and even after I got out of bed and asked them to be quiet, they still talked fairly loud for a while. Noise aside, I would recommend this hostel.

Liked: It was quiet season so we didn't get to meet anyone. But the place was fantastic! Had everything we need including free internet & breakfast :)

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff . The beds are of good quality and the showers are perfect . I will definitely return to Vila Veselova during my next visit to Ljubljana .
