Liked: The staff were amazingly friendly - really makes a difference. Also the rooms were super clean and the lockers were built into each bunk, so you were only disturbing max 1 other person when getting your stuff early in the morning!!!

Liked: beautiful building. very clean. Comfortable beds. Good looking and very friendly staff. Own reading lights. Relaxed. But this place is way to expensive and should have breakfast included.

Liked: This hostel is lovely, really homely with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are really nice with lockers to keep your stuff in, there are two kitchens to use, free internet access and its only 5 minutes from the centre of the old town. Its the best hostel we've stayed in so far and slovenia is my favourite country...... a must!

Liked: It's a good place to stay not too too far from the main square (10 minutes by walking) and the bus/train station (20 minutes by walking). It lacks a few things (common room, real kitchen, snack bar) but they are working on it. The hostel is situated in an old Austro-Hungarian building which is great. Some people complained about the noise (next to train tracks and a major road), but we did not mind it. We were there in October and had the window closed.

Liked: The hostel is extremely clean and the beds are great. They even have some beds in the dorm that are like double beds for couples (tho you do pay for 2 beds), so if you are in a couple it can be good. I did hate paying that much for a hostel, but seeing as they're all about that much and that its close to the old town (or on the edge of it, not sure) and super clean its worth it. Note: there are large lockers, no need to bring your own lock. When I went at the end of October it was quiet but that might just be because its offseason.
