Youth Hostel Pod Skalo

Hostel Pod Skalo is a small modern hostel with ten rooms, situated in Kamnik under the Old Castle. The native house, situated close bellow the Northern slope of the Old Castle is known for its hospitality since the 18th century.

Rooms are on the first floor and in the attic of the refurnished old middle-class house. Each room disposes with a private bathroom/WC and a wireless internet connection. There is also a internet corner and common space with small kitchen, where you can be seated in the evenings watching TV, playing cards or chess.
In the building next to the hostel is located a pub, reconstructed from an old farm building. Its interesting inside outfit with the old-time touch represents the picturesque history of one of the oldest inns at Kamnik. Here you can drink a cup of coffee or a pint of beer, and in summer you can enjoy licking ice-cream if you have a sweet tooth! In the evenings you are invited to play hand-football or picado.

Ten rooms are available for the guests:
- 5 dorm bed-rooms: 3 twin bed-rooms (with two separated beds) and 1 triple bed-room (double bed-room + one single bed)
- 6 double (private) bed-rooms.
Each room has private bathroom with toilet and shower and free Wi-Fi.
We offer to our guests additional services:
