The exclusive location provides every visitor with the opportunity to visit one of the attractive coastal towns, which are full of memorable sights. At the same time, the village of Korte offers a peaceful location for those who seek tranquility and nature.
CULINARY:
The Slovene Istria prides itself with an extremely rich and varied selection of culinary specialties. Korte itself, as well as the surrounding villages, offer rural tourism spots, inns with local food and osmice (a typical coastal tavern). Another Istrian specialty are it's quality wines, white as well as red, which you can try at most local wine-growers in Korte or other surrounding villages.

We are currently designing additional and extremely fun programs for all who visit the youth hostel Old School Korte. Apart from a simple holiday we will be offering sports activities (cycling, horseback riding, hiking …) as well as culinary and historical activities (visit an oil mill, a tour of a typical Istrian farm and the local villages, tasting typical Istrian wines and visiting the wine cellars…). Transport for larger groups will be organized by us as well.
