Liked: THe owner was helpful and was very kind about picking me up and dropping me off in the town. The bikes were free though some were not that well maintained, but it was great to be able to just take one and ride around. The host really was very warm and interesting.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: We liked the hostel: the location is good - beautiful and quiet place not so far from Bled. Cosy bar and delicious breakfast; nice and friendly owner. We stayed for two more nights.

Disliked: Was not clean enough, but it is understandable - there was a repair of the house at that moment.

Liked: The fact that the hostel is a little bit far from Bled didnt was a problem because the owner will take you when you need to. The house is located just behind the mountains so it is really beautiful there without and the best thing is that you dont have to deal with the huge amount of tourists. The breakfast is huge! and tasty.

Disliked: mm, maybe the house is a little bit of a mess now.

Liked: Was a nice stay in double room, good breakfast, transfer to the lake, and we got all information. Very kind people.

Liked: staff was great! Home cooked breakfast as part of the fees was definitely worth it. Rooms were clean, and the staff was always available to hear about improvements. Great time!

Disliked: location is about a 15 minute drive from Bled itself. However, to caviot this, it keeps you away from the hussle and bussle of the traffic in Bled.

Liked: I liked the summer manager very much and I also. The bar was also very cosy and generous com just a nice place to sit.

Disliked: The shuttle times were once in the mornin and then again at 7pm so rather restrictive. The location though peaceful was just too far out. Also the transfers were gratefully received but I just felt like an inconvenience on my final morning. My bus was due to leave over breakfast time and there was one person doing the transfer AND the breakfast. I was reminded it was the breakfast time shortly before departure and truly felt like I was being a nuisance for taking up their services.

Liked: One of the best hostels i've ever stayed in - the most hilarious, helpful and friendly staff. An example of true hospitality.

Disliked: Difficult location to get dinners and no way of getting back from the lake if you want to have a late night out other than taxi

Liked: Great people managing the hostel who went out of their way to help us, they would drive us for free into town every day and even drove us to the train station at the end of our stay. Very relaxing, would recommend for everyone except for those who want to party.

Disliked: Not really a place for going out, the hostel was five kilometres outside of the main town so difficult to get back late at night. The shuttle was also early, between nine and ten, and we got picked up at 7 in the evening so defiently more of a chill out place.

Liked: Decor in the living room was cool and the advertised transport was always on time. Good atmosphere. Free hot breakfast was delicious!

Disliked: No cooking facilities so you had to go to a pizza place down the road. We appeared to be in the basement room which wasn't as nice as the other rooms.

Liked: The host is very accomodating and even though the property is a bit away from Bled the owner will come and pick you up. The breakfast is very delicious and will fill you up. Theres a computer and tv as well.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Friendly staff, plenty of activities could be arranged right in hostel (rafting, canyoning etc).

Disliked: Location. It's not in Bled actually.

Liked: We loved absolutley everything about this hostel, so much we ended up staying an extra night!! This was mainly due to the staff who were extremely friendly and and helpful in our stay. The location is slightly out of the way but this caused no issues as we were taken to and from our destinations at no extra cost. We also felt that staying further out we got to experience local life and we met some great people at the local pub and restuarant. Final note - rooms were clean, breakfast was great and showers were good!!

Disliked: Nothing!!!!

Liked: The owner was the most helpful and enthusiastic person i've ever met, having gone to the wrong train station he sent a driver to collect us. in short he helped make sure we got the best possible experience out of bled. i'd go back sure.

Disliked: nothing much, it was a bit out of the way but the free shuttle was pretty good and it wasn't a problem.

Liked: Very clean and well organised. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and comfortable beds.

Disliked: The minibus service in and out of Bled was excellent, but the location of the hostel in such a quiet village was a little difficult in the evenings!

Liked: It had a great feel to it and it was well set up for the travellers staying there. Awesome meals and excellent wine!!

Liked: This property had character and was very homely. Great value for money and the free tranfers to and from the lake make it a perfect location. The Food is amazing, for 7 euro a home made 3 course local slovenian food prepared by Mama. Our Free Breakfast included sausage and eggs. Mama and her Family are very friendly and went out there way to make our stay awesome. Would definitly recommend this to other travellers. 10 out 10.

Liked: The breakfast was the only good thing about the place.

Disliked: Cleanliness. Dishonesty. Location. No information. Worst of all was the bed, it creaked and was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Was held up by a yellow pages. The owner needs to invest more in the property for the price you pay.

Disliked: Bit far out of town. Cannot walk anywhere, but they provide a shuttle service. Bit restricting on times though.

Liked: great eggs in the morningscenic surroundings saddle on the seat to use the computer

Disliked: mama is the only permanent member of staff, she is friendly and well meaning but cannot speak ANY english so its pretty difficult to know what's going on, especially when the hot and cold taps and switched around without any indication... dinner is nice but over-priced and they won't allow you to cook your own food. location is far from bled and there is only one lift into town in the morning and back in the evening. and the four-wheel drive is a bit dodge and doesnt have working gears... beware.
