Liked: Very friendly and welcoming place to stay, with great breakfast included and you can get a fantastic home cooked Slovenian dinner for 6 euros. We stayed for 2 nights after already staying in Bled previously, so we explored the local area and also went horseriding. Would love to come back again, maybe in winter! Would highly recommend for anyone who would like to see a more authentic side of the Bled area, outside of the tourist drag.

Liked: The food was Great! and compared to the rest of the town extremely cheap! was a little far out though but overall pretty good.. we were only there for 2 days but if we were there for longer i might have stayed closer to the town.. but he drives you there so its fine

Liked: It's the ideal break for you on your travels, the couple that run it are fantastic and very friendly.

Liked: the hostel picks you up when you arrive in Bled and takes you back to the hostel and they bring you into bled in the morning and bring you back in the evenings. The staff are very friendly. Free breakfast is a simple continental breakfast, dinner is fantastic and is 6 euros (please note there is no where else near by to eat food).

Liked: This hostel was great. Damian (the owner) was so friendly, agreeable, and honest. Dinner made by his wife was definately worth it - delicious! I would absolutely stay here again.

Liked: Just like all the other reviews stated, perfect place to meet other travellers. The only disadvantage could be that, if you do not have any transport, you are dependant to the owners to pick you up from Bled (about 10 minutes drive, about 7 or 8 km) WHICH THEY ARE GLADLY TO DO by the way.Location is quiet an a bit remote, but the view is wonderfull.Very nice food, every day something different for 6 Euro's a dinner (august '08) and breakfast is includedI would certainly reccomend this place, since it is ver good value for money. Felt at home !

Liked: damien the owner was really helpful and funny no matter what anyone says. he told us all about the region collected us and dropped us loads and organised all the activities even though he was busy with other guest. its a really homey place and the food was really nice and tradition with massive portions for 6 euro. we will def be coming here again!!

Liked: The hostel owners managed to prepare 3 course slovenian meals for 6euros which was great. They offer a wide range of activities and offer drop off and pick up to the lake (at certain times) which is handy as there is no punctual bus to bled.

Liked: Couple who run the hostel are lovely. Make sure you have one of the homecooked meals - delicious! The only downside was the location - you're right in the middle of nowhere. But it is a beautiful nowhere, and the owner will drive you to bled and back for free.

Liked: The staff was awesome! The rooms were smaller but it makes it possible to get a full nights rest. I would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Lovely hostel in quiet location. Quiet far from Bled but owner happy to give lifts and even get up early if necessary. Great dinner too! Only downside was a little too quiet- only 3 other guests.
