Liked: The hostel is right on top of a nice chill bar. All of the staff are really nice and helpful. They had the white water rafting guys come in and tell us about the stuff they offered. I did the white water rafting and had a blast. Overall, this was an extremely fun and friendly hostel.

Liked: Locals drink their guts out at the bar downstairs. Drinks are very affordable. Owner is very friendly and the hostel organizes outdoor activities regularly.

Liked: There was a bar downstairs that was really good value and it was easy to meet people. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There were trips organised from the hostel such as rafting.

Liked: The staff are very welcoming and helpful and made sure I was comfortable and helped in arranging transport early in the morning. The hostel has a great location and good internet facilities. My only concern is the security of the premises. There is nobody watching to see who is coming and going at night, especially through the side door which was left unlocked all night despite me getting up to lock it personally 3 times!!.It should lock automatically when you enter.Also the noise from outside and inside the hostel continued late into the night by a group of very young boys staying at the hostel and nothing was done about it. I had to leave very early (7.00) and couldn't get to sleep until 5.00 because they were making excessive noise inside and outside the hostel and throwing snowballs at the window of my room! I would consider this a fine hostel if the above concerns were rectified but until then I'm afraid I cannot recommend this hostel and I hope the owner realises that while I appreciate his help and welcome at his hostel, the incidents during the night annoyed me very much.

Liked: The staff at the hostel were brilliant! Unbeleivably friendly and helpful! The pub was great to meet other guests and also the locals and there was always a good atmosphere. The activities on offer in beld were also coordinated through the hostel.

Liked: Hostel was above a bar, which was great Craic! and good for meeting people. Within short walking distance of the town and the lake, except for one little hill to walk up, it´s an easy walk. Rooms are nice and bright and the hostel is clean. Definitely recommended.

Liked: First of all we got off at the wrong train station, one phone call and someone came to the middle of nowhere to pick us up...NO charge! It also feels like you are staying in a family cabin...and they offer such a wide variety of activites to do...sun or shine. The bar downstairs is great as well...not only is it a cool local hangout, but a great place to meet fellow travellers. By far...BEST Hostel EVER!
