Liked: An entertaining place with plenty of character. The place is a bit tired but the breakfasts were very good.

Disliked: Beds were too hard.

Liked: Quirky and a real find. Breakfast was great and our one basic room between 4 of us had two floors, 4 balconies, a computer and a bath. Absolutely brilliant hostel.

Disliked: We were offered one free spa treatment when we booked on the internet; we were never given this.

Liked: The art deco furnishings.

Disliked: Staff spoke little English so it was difficult to get help and advice but they tried their best.

Liked: Very cool building, very close to the train station.

Disliked: Only downside we had was the fact that the girl had left the reception when we arrived, so we had to wait for 10 minutes in the cold in front of the locked door.

Liked: Has different charm than any other hostel we've stayed, excentric in a good way:) Staff was really helpful, and the breakfast was good even from a scandinavian point of view. Really good value for the money, best hostel we've stayed during our month of travel around central Europe.

Disliked: Location could be closer to the city center, but on the other hand it's really close to the railway station (ideal for interrailers with heavy backpacks) and the trams are cheap and the stop is really near.

Liked: I liked that the hostel had unique architecture, but it was just bizzare and the food was disgusting.

Liked: It's very close to the train station and about a 15 minute walk into town. The room was fine, nothing special but it had a tv with cnn etc and was fairly clean. Breakfast was ok and the free internet in the lobby was good.

Liked: Very generous breakfast. My single ensuite room was very nice, complete with cable TV. It is just difficult to get to the hostel if you have heavy baggage as you have to climb a long flight of stairs from the train station.

Liked: Amazing architecture and decoration in this hostel, which is always nice to see. The breakfast was the best we've had at any hostel and was included with the price of our room. The room was very clean and well-furnished. Very close to the train station, and a small distance from the city center. Atmosphere isn't all that friendly, per se, but it's a great value for what you pay.

Liked: The hotel looks extremely funny which makes the stay a nice new experience. The staff was also very helpful.
