Liked: very nice place to stay and to meet people.

Disliked: they sell cheap beer so i get drunk and missed my train... but otherwise everything was great :)

Liked: I really loved the staff and the party they organized in the common room! poker night was cool, Jacob kicks asses and Monica borrowed us a shisha :) hostel was clean, bright & safe, located in the centre, nothing to complain about!

Liked: cheap, clean and comfortable place, located just few steps to the old town of Bratislava. well run and providing loads of free services, highly recommended !

Liked: staff very helpful and friendly

Disliked: the price for private room was expensive, compared to other places in Eastern Europe. We stayed in a hotel n Prague and Vienna for less then a private room with sharred bathroom at Padio. (apart from the price the hostel is great)

Liked: Good, clean hostel in a good location. Staff were excellent and changed my booking to a room by myself as they were not busy for no extra charge.

Liked: Good location. Padlocks provided for large underbed boxes made keeping your stuff accessible and secure quite good. Was a kitchenette on each floor, kettle on one (not so keen on having my breakfast stolen though! - not the hostel's fault of course). Liked the place well enough to return to stay again before we got our flight home. Feather pillows - brill!

Disliked: Large, fairly impersonal place - does the job but a bar would be good - you can buy drinks from the fridge to take down to the lounge room in the basement - several computers there too with free internet. Showers fine but not private - are mens and womens - just could do with a couple of curtains perhaps. It was too hot at night - middle of winter so really too wasteful to open a window.

Liked: despite the strange entrance, the hostel is simply great! between the two best hostels i've been to! wonderful decoration, staff, everything!

Liked: We are really satisfied by the Patio Hostel, very good surprise! We had a very nice room, Daniel (on the reception) is very nice, helpful and hard worker!! The location is very good, in the center. Bathroom and kitchen very clean. There is a common room with computers and babyfoot. Good ambiance with a lot of young people!

Disliked: Nothing!!

Liked: everything - location's great, staff really helpful (even after we accidently pulled the curtain rail down and broke the light in our room partying - they didn't get angry and didn't charge us!), great place to meet people, free internet, good common room, clean, easy to find and walking distance to everything.

Disliked: cooking / kitchen facilities are a bit scarce (2 rings on the stove, one pot, one wooden spoon etc)

Liked: security and location were great, most of the staff were friendly, and the rooms and lockers are large.

Disliked: the night man/receptionist our first night was very drunk, and the hostel had signs saying 'no smoking' but the common room and stairwell stank of cigarettes. the internet and wi-fi connections are slow, and kitchen 'cooker' = 2 hot plates. to eat on, there is only a TINY table and two chairs provided on each floor, which is silly considering the amount of people in the hostel!. the whole hostel could do with a new paint job which would make it a lot more welcoming.

Liked: nice warm spacey rooms, nice sized lockers under the beds, free padlocks, kitchen to every three rooms.

Disliked: nice but the staff failed to control drunk guest even after quite alot of damage to hostel property and thieft. quite over priced conpared to other hostels, can get the same facillities if not better for half the price.
