Liked: Great hostel. So friendly and had a great common room with computer access, telivision and table football. Was great to have kitchen access as well to make our own food. Absolutely loved my stay here

Disliked: Nothing to dislike really, great hostel

Liked: Not that much. Good location - 5 min walk to the centre, and 2 mins to Tesco.

Disliked: Too many drunk people making noise at all times of the day, the recpetion constantly smelt of smoke, people were smoking on my floor (not supposed to be but nobody stopped them), the kitchens were a joke - one cupboard sized room on each floor with only extremely basic facilities - I was queueing for quite some time in one of the evenings. No electricity sockets in my dorm, locker not at all secure. The common room was very much a party room - there is no other space where you can just chill. Didn't like the hostel and this made me not really like Bratislava either - would not recommend except to people looking for a party hostel. If you actually want to experience Slovakia and Bratislava, look elsewhere.

Liked: The good range of information available in the hostel - including tours such as Authentic Slovakia (make sure to look them up!). It was in a good location as well, with a Tesco nearby and the city centre very close by too.

Disliked: It was loud at night time as we were sleeping in a room overlooking the patio. It says 11pm is the start of quiet time, but in this case it wasn't. Sometimes after travelling you need sleep!

Liked: nice staff, clean and big rooms, location couldn't be better, free internet and laundry, great bbq & pub crawl. RECOMMENDED!

Disliked: - The "kitchen" was really stinking, door closed, small location - The doors were ALWAYS slamming.. Please put a stopper on the doors!!!!!!! Even if you were really careful, it was ALWAYS slamming..

Liked: Free internet and use of computers. Friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: It was unclean, cramped and extremely noisy. Lots of very drunk people coming and going all the time, shouting and singing and slamming doors. My boyfriend was woken up at 5am by a drunk stranger asking for condoms. The rooms smelt of smoke, the mattresses were a very thin piece of sponge, and kitchen was tiny and the stoves didn't work. The lockers were broken and therefore unsafe. They put extra beds in the dorm without telling you in advance. All in all, you get no sleep and it makes you hate bratislava. I will not be returning or recommending this to anyone.

Liked: It offered a single sex dorm, which was helpful as I was a female travelling alone. Also, for those that just want to party, staff were very relaxed so this would have probably been an ideal place. This fact was a downfall for me though; I wanted to eat, shower and sleep.

Disliked: Quite a lot of things. Facilities were old and unclean. Kitchen space was tiny in comparison to how many people were expected to use the facilities. The rooms look nothing like those of the photos. Some lockers in the dorm were broken. There was only one private shower for around 30 people (others were in open room with just a curtain covering). Staff were a little abrupt.

Liked: Central location

Disliked: The place was poorly maintained in my opinion. there was food in the fridge that was 2 years out of date, the tiny kitchen was unclean. the internet was ver slow and unusable. on of the showers have a see through door and u have to pull a curtain to cover it. this curtain gets opened if a person wants to use the other shower deside you... if the curtain is not pulled over again you are on full show for anybody passing by to the toilet to see :)

Liked: Good location, great communal space and cheap bar!

Disliked: There was only 1 bathroom in use on our floor, so all girls and boys shared 2 showers and 2 toilets for 4 rooms of 8, not much privacy at all in the shower.

Liked: Great location. Nice, clean hostel.

Disliked: Bathroom set-up was a bit weird, and I wasn't tge only one confused by it... A French guy walked in on me having a shower... Also there wasn't really any inside dining space just a bench and two stools.

Liked: After 2 nights in the dorms on the first floor, we took the private on 4th floor. Really different, really quiet (no noisy doors), and we "shared" a bathroom, but only with one other room, so it was almost private. Wifi seems to work better up there too.

Disliked: The problem with the kitchen is the same: well equiped, but no real place to eat what you cook.

Liked: Location, big drawers-lockers in dorms, quietness, washing machine free (even if it's not spinning well).

Disliked: Internet (wifi) intermitent or really slow, noisy doors that make noise even when you're careful, dryer not working but good hanger system, kitchen is small, which is ok, but no real place to eat what you're cooking; lots of people sleeping in common room.

Disliked: Noisy every night. A little untidy and shabby in places. Staff were ok but not especially enthusiastic. Bathrooms not great.
