Liked: The hostel's staff is willing to go to extreme lengths to keep the guests happy and answer all their questions. Hostel Blues is very clean and offers a big kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook a meal. The location is good and easy to find.

Disliked: The common area has loud music pounding 24/7 which gets annoying rather quickly. The private room we stayed at was rather small - just a bit bigger than the double bed it contained. Finally, although the hostel has a no smoking policy, some guests were smoking on the common area's balcony and the smoke was getting inside.

Liked: It was wonderful vacation in Bratislava! And i love hostel blues. I met with nice people, learned slovakian foods. Everbody tried to help us. I certainly recommend Hostel Blues..

Liked: i like everything about the hostel!!! the atmosphere is great. close to the old town. there's a supermarket near the hostel building. the room is great

Disliked: Wasn't as party-central as I'd hoped but that could be a bonus to some people! Pretty quiet for a bank holiday weekend but definitely picked up Saturday evening

Liked: Easy to find, cheap and clean. Exactly what you would expect.

Disliked: It was in an old apartment block so on the outside it was a bit run down, however it has been newly refurbished inside so was quite nice.

Liked: Very good rooms and large lockers. Staff were extreamly helpful. Great chill out room & common room.

Liked: Staff were good, nice decoration and things, well maintained and clean, really cool 'chill out' room and good kitchen.

Disliked: Bratislava itself (...), felt a bit like a hotel so not great to meet people and lacked that vibe of a good hostel (having said that, it may be to some people's tastes), seemed like there were loads and loads of rules, and there were some proper posey wankers in the room next to us who stayed up all night and flooded the toilets.

Liked: clean rooms and helpful staff! the rooms where big and nice and we actually got a a room with a huge balcony with a view over the city! the hostel was also close to everything and easy to find.

Disliked: the hostel overall was a bit dirty in the morning...the elevator was full with garbage!

Liked: The staff were excellent - very welcoming and friendly, and help a lot with orientation. They even gave us a demonstration of Slovakian traditional food. The best hostel I've been in yet. I also like the theme of the hostel - blues and the different city themes and it was clean.

Liked: It's a nice place, set out over -almost- an entire building. Certain minor service deficiencies on behalf of the staff are quickly compensated by their beauty. Cheap-ish beer and massive supermarket across the road, which you won't get staying in the old centre.

Disliked: Even if it was tagged as en suite, the toilet and the bathroom were located outside the room accessible to other rooms as well. Only a sing on the door made the difference appealing to other people's honesty. Also somehow the other rooms had keys to their specific room, but we hadn't. Tram noise can be annoying if you have trouble sleeping. But definitely you would have to have a very very light sleep.

Liked: Everything was GREAT! Only stayed here 1 night, but the rooms and ensuite bathrooms are super clean, the beds and blankets/bedding are COMFY, new kitchen, and love that they have a dining room, hang-out area, and quiet room. The staff are also very helpful and nice :)

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: I can't rate this hostel highly enough - in particular the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and gave some great advice to me.

Disliked: Nothing - it was a great hostel to stay in.
