Liked: The apartment was very spacious, and the location in the city was awesome. Once we found it, we were very comfortable during our three nights there.

Disliked: The check-in process is awful. You must have a cell phone in order to communicate with the owners. They wanted to know the specific time of our arrival, and when traveling this is not always possible. The apartment is unmarked in any way. We arrived at night and were very disoriented. I don't know why they don't change this process.

Liked: Really nice apartment, clean and with everything you need. Close to the old town and within walking distance of restaurants and bars.

Disliked: Much further from the station than we realised and the directions given were not accurate but thankfully we had a map so figured it out ourselves. The apartment is very, very badly signposted (well not signposted at all). It is part of a large apartment block and at the very back of a long passage. We had to look at individual intercom signs to work out where it was. After a long train journey this was the last thing we wanted to deal with and this definitely needs improving. Due to some communication issues and problems with trains we were not at the apartment at the time that we told the owner we would be, therefore he wasn't around. He does not live in the apartment building or even in close proximity to it so after ringing him for about 20 minutes it took another half hour or so for him to turn up. This wasn't necessarily all his fault but from talking to the neighbours this happens fairly often.

Liked: Very central location; clean.

Disliked: The description says there is a kitchen but it is not really true (I don't call a fridge, one hot plate and a microwave a kitchen!): there's not enough utensils, glasses (only one!), pots, etc.

Disliked: ALL the above,..question 2 and VERY noisy..close to main street along Danubue, which had VERY noisy traffic ALL NIGHT

Liked: The accomodation was located also near to the center as to bus and tram station. We´ve been well recieved and got a lot of useful tipps for our stay. After 3 days´ stay we got new towels.

Disliked: A kitchen table with two chairs would have been helpful by taking breakfast :-)

Liked: This very nice and quiet place to stay if you are tired after travelling and wanna have a rest. It has its own little kitchen so it is suitable for travellers who want to save some money and make their own meals. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to everybody. Owner/staff was very nice and recommended us places to see in the city.

Liked: Blue Danube is a perfect choice if you want privacy. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and private. Best if you want to take advantage of a fully equipped kitchen while traveling for longer stays; but still great if you want privacy for a short stay, which is what we did. Igor was very helpful in getting oriented to the city, which was extremely easy to get around.

Liked: This was a great little place to stay, it was like a tiny self contained flat in an old apartment building. Igor, the owner, was very helpful in telling us about Bratislava.

Disliked: I was happy with everything. Perhaps a few more cooking utensils and some cooking oil would have been really useful.

Liked: The apartment was beautiful and clean.Maria was so friendly and helpful and went ABOVE and BEYOND what she needed to do. Directions: she provided *detailed* directions to the apartments by email and her cell phone if we had any questions.Arrival: She met us outside the apartment, walked us through the apartment and then sat down with a map and explained the manyApartment: It was very clean and the furniture was all new. We couldn't ask for more.Bratislava:My girlfriend and I very much enjoyed our time in Bratislava. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful historical district streets and seeing Devin Castle, St Martin’s Cathedral, Bratislava Castle, and the collection of Church art.Above and beyond: We left our laptop charger and converter. She packaged and mailed it to my address in the United States after I PayPal'ed her the money to cover shipping costs.I recommend Bratislava and the Blue Danube Apartments to everyone!

Liked: Great location! But keep in mind it is just a simple appartment... Don't expect to find a lobby with someone receiving you. The owner rents the ap. and the location makes it very good. It's really in the centre and 3 mins to the boats station (for Danube boat trips). Simple but good value for money.

Liked: The owner was a very nice man called Igor, who contacted us by text message before our flight landed and offered to pick us up from the airport. Even though our flight was delayed by 4 hours he was still there at 4am to meet us. This was very helpful. Thank you Igor.

Liked: This is as it describes apartments so there is very little opportunity to meet people. But the apartments are very well kept with a small shared kitchen ensuite bathroom and a sitting area with tv. Location is perfect and easy to find although it doesnt look great from the outside. The guy who meets you is fantastic and gives some great recommendations. Overall loved our stay here and the city of Bratislava
