One Florence Close is a friendly place to stay - the owners are very helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean, functional and nicely styled. The shared showers are clean and the communal kitchen/living room is homely. The owner's cats are cute and friendly! It's easy enough to find the hostel - just up the road from the Kovan MRT station, although if coming from Changi airport, the bus journey is probably shorter. Good place to stay - value for money, recommended for a comfortable budget stay in Singapore.

The lovely staff, very helpful in an non-invasive way. Love their cats - Romeo and Peper. We will beback soon!

The showers were fantastic, beds were comfortable, even if rooms are small, VERY clean, free WIFI is great. Owners were friendly, and the cats were adorable! Paying for extras wasn't cool! If you want a shower before checking in/after checking out it's $5, and for early check-in it's $35! We thought the 3.00 check-in time was a bit excessive, and the room rate a bit much for what it actually is.

location was great MRT 5minutes walk away, was comfortable, cats were nice, would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap place with great food near by, and easy access to bus terminals leaving daily to melaka and KL. overall a good stay.

free wi-fi. Had a private room which had no window and it was really small. Not sooo clean because of the cats. Wouldn´t recommend it.

the design and moderness, clean and quit. I am working so I wanted somewhere quiet not a party place and it was perfect for that. Good quiet location and very close to MRT

Staff were pretty good, had a good knowledge of Singapore. Location is a bit out from city centre but is very easy to travel there (2 min walk to station) and is on the same line as many sites including little china, little india and orchard rd (top end). Bathroom/showers were nice although a little small. Overall good value for money for Singapore standards.

It was extremely clean, friendly staff, two beautifull cats were at the place. Also it has a place to sit outside, and gives free access to internet, free coffee, clean showers and toilets. also it was definitely safe there. The only thing which wasa bit less, was that the location was a bit far from town, and so the taxi took like up to 30 minutes.

The mattresses were comfortable, if being without a bed to sit atop. There were 2 lovely cats, and the airconditioning in the room was welcome.

The decor was very nice and it had some lovely touches which made it feel like a home.
However I couldn't see any fire alarms in any of the rooms which worried me as the exits were limited.

One Florence Close is very clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful in providing information about Singapore. Although it's located a little way out of central Singapore the MRT system is excellent with Kovan station only a 5 minute walk from the hostel.
