It was extremely clean, friendly staff, two beautifull cats were at the place. Also it has a place to sit outside, and gives free access to internet, free coffee, clean showers and toilets. also it was definitely safe there. The only thing which wasa bit less, was that the location was a bit far from town, and so the taxi took like up to 30 minutes.

The mattresses were comfortable, if being without a bed to sit atop. There were 2 lovely cats, and the airconditioning in the room was welcome.

The decor was very nice and it had some lovely touches which made it feel like a home.
However I couldn't see any fire alarms in any of the rooms which worried me as the exits were limited.

One Florence Close is very clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful in providing information about Singapore. Although it's located a little way out of central Singapore the MRT system is excellent with Kovan station only a 5 minute walk from the hostel.

no kids under 10 were allowed!!
the room was small but the bed was comfy. they had free tea! you could cook your own food.
its about 15mins from the 'city' of singapore which is nothing. the hostel is just off a main road so quiet but there are places on the road to eat and drink. I would stay there again.

The hostel was clean and tiday and I was upgraded to a family room (1 matress on the floor and a bunk bed) which was clean and spacious as I was staying in the room by myself. There were lots of amenities close by with hawker markets where you can eat cheaply very near 1 B&B. The location is not central to the hub of Singapore but the MRT service can take you easily to wherever you wish to go. As I was taken by taxi to the MRT and only stayed 1 night (I left early in the morning to go to malaysia) I didn't get to explore the nightlife around the hostel and its proximity to the MRT. But there was tea and coffee which was complimentary and you could use the internet (1 computer I think which was communal so depending on who wanted to use it it meant that it might not be always easy to use it). It was small and bijou whcih i like and I was not disturbed.

Actually, it is clean. There is an interesting and authentically food place close by. Ask at the hotel.

It was clean and tidy and easy to get to from the MRT and bus. The rooms were dark and quiet so we had a good long sleep which helped with jet lag (but the rooms were barely big enough for the bed and two suitcases).

We only stayed a night here and had an excellent stay. The staff were professional and friendly and we felt very welcome. The two cats were cool but the grey one is'nt as playful as the white cat. Really cool place to stay and lots of cheap food close by!! Highly recomend it!!

One Florence close is a very friendly, clean and inviting hostel.
The facilities available to us were Internet, Television, Tea and Coffee and Hot showers all included in the price. Phone facilites are available also.
The hostel is in a great area for eatery's and in walking distance to the MRT (a fast rail system) and lots of shopping complexes.
There is also a local pool in 5 walking distance to the hostel for those who need cooling down.
Overall a great location for those who don't want the hustle and bustle of the city centre but in close enough range for a 25 minute train ride.

cheaper than a lot of accommodation in singapore. Free internet and wireless. good facilites for showers etc.
