Liked: Cozy room with a/c, best nights sleep i have had in singapore, and Anna was really friendly and helpful.

Disliked: A little bit out of the city centre, but only 15 mins on the MRT so no problem.

Liked: very powerful shower but it was communal

Disliked: small rooms. too many rules. too expensive. no locks on the toilets. not proper wifi access. Could not stay the extra booked night for fear of breaking the 'too noisy' rule when leaving so slept at the airport instead

Liked: Cleanliness. Good for those who seek for home-like hygiene. Staff cleans rooms every day without your reminds, Location. Very near to MRT, located in silent district for local people not for tourists (be prepared to spend time and money to get to downtown). Reasonable price for that level of facilities.

Disliked: Girl who run the hostel tried to give us bad room in the very beginning, It was triple (instead of double we booked for), has no window, was very small and very close to the corridor all guests walked through. When we asked to show us any other possible rooms, she said all were busy. But when we got angry she showed us nice room - much more comfortable, with double bed and with tiny but real window )) We spent three nights there. Advice - try to get rooms on the left from the door, they has windows and not so close to corridor.

Liked: A good little area just outside of the main hub, 2 cute cats and nice chilled out atmosphere.

Disliked: Rooms are very small, but they are very comfy!

Liked: Very comfortable, seems like a little house where you can enjoy your stay in Singapore away from the busy city centre. Very clean. Cats add to the atmopshere.

Disliked: So small that you could barely meet new people. Quite loud, can hear through the walls.

Liked: It was the cheapest place I could find in Singapore (an expensive city in my view) that could accommodate me and my family. It is also very clean and there is a sense that there is good control over cleanliness and standards

Disliked: The bedroom flet like a box: the only window was a translucent affair into the living area. The living area was really a lean to. Unlike other hostels I have stayed at the washing and toilet facilities were not private

Liked: This is actually modified from a local house in Singapore. It offers an experience in how Singaporean live. The room is clean and tidy, the furniture is comfortable. The only disadvantage I would like to state is, the area of room is a bit small...but it still a joyful experience in One Florence Close.

Liked: The cooking facilities were poor, a microwave and a toaster/grill. Our room was about 9ft.x8ft., could have done with something with a bit more space.

Liked: Very nice homely feel, only a few rooms and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Pepper and Romeo (the resident cats) are so cute!. Would benefit from some more cooking facilities. Overall a great stay!!

Liked: very clean property, discreet (more like a residential property than a hostel). location was excellent, very close to mrt (train). surrounded with shops and street hawkers (restaurants) at an affordable price!ohh and the cats were amazing!

Liked: We enjoyed our stay here, in fact, we stayed an extra 2 days. While the hostel is not in a tourist area it is close to the metro and therefore easy to get around Singapore. We found it handy because we left via bus to Malaysia from the bus stn just down the street. The persian cats were also a nice touch...if you are cat people like we are. The hostel was very clean and the shared facilities were cleaned daily. We would recommend this place to anyone on a budget while in Singapore.

Liked: I liked that it was far enough away from the cbd to be quiet, yet is on a main MRT line, making the city easily accessable. Was good value for money, which is hard to find in Singapore. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Was a nice surpise to have our room cleaned, which you don't often get in cheaper accomodation. Has a fridge, and food storage facilities which is also rare! We stayed for 8 nights as it has a very homely feel. Definitely recomended !

Liked: Positive:Clean, modern rooms in a converted residential house, friendly and helpful staff and host family, wireless Internet, very close to food centers and Kovan MRT station.Negative:Two cats that leave lots of hair, quite far away from the centre, not convenient to reach from the airport.
