Liked: i was staying at the mixed dorm. it was very clean, the aircon was cold. The shared bathroom was perfect! Very Clean with hot shower. The common room was also a great place to meet the other travelers. Love it! The girl at the front desk was very helpful. And the restaurant although was small but very nice with free breakfast. Oh last but not least i love the surroundings and environment, location was great near a park and an art school. Not very far from the Little India MRT station. So worth the money! will definetely go to Hangout @ Mt Emily on my next trip to Singapore!

Liked: Very friendly hostel wit nice staff and guets. Good communal areas and bathroom within dorm room. Great to have breakfast included also. Easy to get to location via mrt. Thanks for a great stay.

Liked: Overall feeling about the place, vibrant, friendly, clean ,everything you require for a singapore visit to enhance what is already a lovely place

Disliked: Only negative was the top floor and pool were out of action and we were not made aware of this until we got here. Somthing on the website could have pre warned as i was looking forward to dip and chill out on the roof. No discount for that fact either.

Liked: This hostel is one of the best I've stayed in! The staff are friendly, it's a goof location close to Little India and Chinatown, and the facilities are spotless. There's an awesome hang out room with a pool table, free coffee/tea, free computers to use, a big tv and comfy bean bags for hanging out. The hostel is very safe with large lockers next to each dorm bed and a great design that gives you a bedside table and a wardrobe to hang clothes at each bed. The roof is also a great place to hang out with a nice view and patio furniture. There are also plenty of power outlets in the dorm room, just look above the bed headboard. The beds are comfy and clean.

Disliked: There is a bit of a climb to the hostel from the metro station, which isn't nice with a big rucksack, but I'd say it's worth the trek. You have to give a S$30 deposit for the room key, so be prepared.

Liked: I liked pretty much everything here. Its very clean, the rooms are spacious, the staff is EXTREMELY nice! the rooftop has a great view and the pool/shower hybrid there is great after a long tiring day. If I come to Singapore again, I'll go to this hostel.

Disliked: there are not enough sockets in the rooms.. the private rooms have universal sockets, but the shared ones have the UK ones .. In my room there were two sockets for six people, and they are next to the room so don't expect to find one near your bed... also come with your converter! and prepare to wait in line to use the socket in your room

Liked: Didn't feel like a hostel, felt like a hotel as so clean and organised!

Disliked: If you are travelling alone and want to meet people and do group activities and competitions and stuff then it wouldn't be for you.

Liked: It's good to have free wifi everywhere in the hostel.

Disliked: It's located on the hill, which is very inconvenience for traveller who carry heavy baggages. Need to walk down the hill to get transport, or call taxi! The breakfast provided is not good. Very less choice and not tasty.

Liked: Staff are very friendly and helpful. No bunk beds. Breakfast is good. Free internet and wi-fi. Very clean. Good lockers and power next to every bed.

Disliked: The bar is not on site it is next door, a little pricey, and has the atmosphere you'd expect in an expensive hotel. There is an excellent roof top area in the hostel that could easily be a rockin bar area, the hostel should put some beers and food on there!

Liked: It was really nice. Everybody is super helpful. Its clean and a great place to stay in.

Disliked: No simple dining space, the restaurant downstairs is fairly expensive ( as pointed out to me by the staff themselves, which is nice ) but having to go out everytime for a meal ( except for breakfast ) was something that annoyed me a little. Also the directions, in HostelBookers' description, after Little India MRT , there is hardly anything, nobody knows the place around that area, so if they can be more specific or hostelbookers be more specific it will be awesome

Liked: Safe, secure extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. We stayed in a twin and was great. V helpful staff who sorted out a leaky air con v quickly! Great place to stay!

Disliked: Had leaky Aircon in room - but helpful staff sorted rooms switch quickly.

Disliked: but not easy to assess if you carry the suitcase. It is highly recommend to take the taxi, specially late evening .
