Liked: I LOVED MY STAY AT FERN LOFT THE STAFF ARE THERE TO HELP WITH BIG SMILS ALL THE TIME. FUN PLACE TO BE AND YOU WILL GET TO MEET LOTS OF FUN AND NICE PEOPLE, ITS A GREAT LOCATION JUST A FEW MINS FROM THE BEACH AND A 5 MIN BUS TRIP TO THE CENTRE. A FUN AND LIVELY PUB UNDER THE HOSTLE WITH CHEEPER DRINKS AND FOOD IF YOU ARE STAYING AT THE HOSTEL OVERALL GREAT PLACE BE. I LOVED IT XX

Liked: Only its safety and location near to Changi Airport. Nothing else.. i was happy that i booked for only 1 night for my transit flight.

Liked: David is absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. Upon staying at the Fern Loft Hostel at the beach for one night, David suggested that i may prefer the River Valley Road branch better as it is closer to the city centre. He was right and provided free transfers. However, as others have commented, reception is not often manned by anyone that can help with tour bookings or general advice. They can let you in, but thats about it.

Liked: Great location for getting to the airport and the price was good. However, the staff was rarely seen and I was never given a blanket. I was told there were none left!

Liked: We had an early flight so the location was very convenient. We didn't see the hostel staff at all as we were checked in by someone from the bar below, who was reasonably helpful. The hostel itself was fine, with nice rooms & a very relaxed feel to it.

Liked: Literally everything - Girls dorm very quiet - Fantastic atmostphere - Constantly cleaned - Brilliant staff! I cannot say a bad word about this hostel, if you want cheap, clean, comfortable, friendly and a whole bundle of fun, choose Fern Loft. Plus the beach is amazing. And only a 10-15 min walk. Absolutely brilliant!

Liked: The staff were really friendly and i liked the fact that you could just help yourself to tea and coffee. The bike hire was a bonus which cost $8 Singapore dollars for the day. The staff were friendly and I was able to keep my luggage in their holdall as my flight was not until the evening!
