Liked: you feel that you are staying in your own home, you wont feel homesick, staff were very accomodating,courteous and friendly easy to get along well.

Disliked: limited shower rooms

Liked: Actually is one of the best hostels in Singapore, If you want a really CLEAN, nice, relax and safe hostal... is your choice!! The staff is amazing, very nice people who actually cares about your staying! i feel like home, and one more thing amazin about the place is that you can meet a lot of great people . I highly recomend this hostal!!

Liked: I like the place so much. It's very clean, safe and I feel just like I am home. The staff are friendly, hospitable, approachable and helpful. I felt like they were my sisters and closest friends....Above all, the accomodation is very ok, plus it's so cheap... There's no place like your place....I love to go back there again!

Disliked: I like everything and there's nothing that I dislike.....

Liked: JUST BOOK IT NOW ~! This place you've got to stay. The staff are amazing~! and free water If you have water bottle :) (really save your money somewhere like this hot country) clean, very close to clack quey~! everything was great!

Disliked: one thing I didn't like was the bathroom. not many of shower and toilet. But I was fine. not a main problem though..

Liked: Cleanest place we stayed so far! Staff is very helpfull and friendly. Free coffee, tea and toast for the whole day.

Disliked: There weren't many backpackers, but more local people staying.

Liked: Although Singapore is one of the most expensive cities Ive ever been to, and the prices were a bit steep for a big 20+ person dorm room, I actually would still recommend Rucksack. Location, cleanliness, kitchen area, and assistance with any questions about the city helped ease the not so usual high price for a dorm room.

Disliked: Emailed the property the day of arrival that we were coming in via the bus from Thailand, and specifically said that 'if all goes to plan' we should arrive at 10pm. We were 3 1/2 hours late, and the hostel had already given up our reservation. My personal recommendation... just tell them your coming in at 1am that night and if your early by 9 hours your still in the clear- I learned my lesson.. had to couch it up the first night and then move over into the dorm the next late morning.

Liked: Location is good. Staff are nice.

Disliked: There are only 2 bathrooms for over 30 people staying there. The dorm is crowded and the beds are uncomfortable. If the dorm is full they allow people to sleep on the sofas so in the morning you can't use the common areas. The place feels a little bland and lacking character.

Liked: Good location & staff were always helpful with great knowledge of the city.

Disliked: The only gripe i would say was they need more toilet/shower facilities. There were 24 people in my dorm & only 2 toilets & showers so sometimes a lot of queing!

Liked: The area where it is located for tourist is very handy, almost walking distance to all major places. The price was affordable for the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The facility was playing up. The room we were given is really small. It was all stairs and that was not mentioned in the web site which made it so difficult for us as we have huge luggage. They room location was not right for what we had. Had a huge luggage and we had to walk up the stairs with our heavy luggage on the top floor. There was no one to help us with our luggage.
