Liked: We loved this hostel! It is one of the cheapest for the facilities provided and very clean. Really great atmosphere, nice courtyard where everyone gathers and hangs out for drinks and food. The staff are great and will help you with anything you need! I stayed in the 6 person dorm and even though it's small, got along well with everyone and felt comfortable at all times. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone!!

Liked: Front room was a little noisy at night, but the staff are awesome! They are accommodating, friendly and make you feel very welcome. I would stay here again just for the staff. The Beds were clean, perhaps they need to replace the mattresses and bed frames but its a very minor aspect of the visit. Highly recommend! AC is great as well!

Disliked: Worn mattresses and squeaky beds.

Liked: All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and would always assist with any problems that I had. I booked a trip to the Singapore zoo and the night safari through the hotel, which ran very smoothly. There were a number of showers to use in the hostel, so was no trouble getting ready in the morning.

Disliked: I stayed in a double private room, which was rather bare (a bed, a sheet and a locker) for the price I paid ($54 SGD).

Liked: The hostel is a very good, safe, clean. The room is clean. Free breakfast -good. The location is closer to a train station, so easy to get connected with different parts of the city.

Disliked: The bunk beds were made of metal frames so it would make a lot of noise when someone was moving. There is a rental fee for everything (hair dryer, towels, using their computer for internet etc)

Liked: The Mitraa has very very friendly and helpfull staff!! We felt really welcome! For breakfast they provide tea, instant coffee, bread, chocolate cream, jam eggs and apples- which is more than in other Singapore hostels. I also likes the extra night light inside the room- it is a blue light bulb enough to see you bed, not enough to disturb others sleep.. So, all in all, we were very much satisfied with the hostel, next time in Singapore, we'll go there again!

Disliked: You should know, that the rooms have all air condition and 18°C was just a bit to cold for me (I just didn't succeed to heat it up a bit). They don't allow the use of sleeping bags for hygienic reasons, which I really can understand. But I got an extra linen, so I could sleep very well. Bring your own padlocks, they have lockers for every guest inside the room.

Liked: The hostel is really good, the place was clean n the staff was really very friendly. The place is also very near to the mrt station and other shopping places.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff, close by the MRT, very clean, good complimentary breakfast!

Disliked: We stayed in a 6-bed dorm, can't really expect more than 3 bunk-bed in a small windowless room, but when you are just in the hostel for sleeping it's ok! (and difficult to find anything better in S'pore!)

Liked: We only stayed here for 1 night, and had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and Ed on reception was great. Mitraa was the most organised and cleanest hostel we have ever stayed in with breakfast included in the price. Only few minutes walk from MRT and located in a quiet area. Would definately come back if we ever came to Singapore again.

Disliked: Only downside, rooms are a bit small.

Liked: The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful and genuinely want people to enjoy their stay.

Disliked: The windowless rooms were a little cramped and stuffy, but with prices the way they are in Singapore, I imagine a lot of hostels are the same.

Liked: Breakfast is okay lah for mε because i like bread. There is № mornal water available in that hotel. The nearest mrt station is farrer park station b & its really short distance. Maybe 5 minutes from the hotel. I like it. № bus station on that area. But it's okay. I will return on that with private room. Hostelsbookers u should have private room for the book. †нªηк's.

Disliked: The ppl on that places is really embrassing. They changes clothes inside the bed room and there is another women see that incident. The a/c really need repair. №t cold @ afternoon or evening. The bin never be replaced. Wifi cannot detected @ room. So we must going to the lobby. Its more time for that.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and felt like family away from home. Breakfast was also very good. Bathroom was always available. People in the hostel were nice. It was quiet at night, so that you can get a good night's rest. They allowed us to store our luggage and take one last shower even after we checked out.

Disliked: Hot water was not dependable, even after I made sure that the hot water switch was ON. We also found a mouse in our room despite never bringing in any food or drinks, and our towels stayed damp in the room and did not dry, causing it to mold. The air-con was too cold and temperature controls didn't work. There was no light above the sink.
