Liked: Oh this place was fine. The staff were very helpful - we even got a complimentary fresh juice on arrival! Food is very reasonably priced, short walk to MRT station and along the road are HEAPS of local restaurants. Key deposit is 20 SGD which you obviously get back upon returning the key. It's the only thing they don't list on their info but it appears that every hostel in Singapore does this so its part of the norm.. The lift is a lifesaver for not having to carry your bags up numerous flights of stairs and there's even 2 big flat screens constantly showing movies if you're just exhausted and need to rest. Thankyou for a great stay! Very good value for money!

Liked: The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from Farrer Park MRT station. 5-10 minutes walk from GREAT authentic Indian food.

Disliked: Since this hostel is so affordable, expect many guests and the staff to be busy at almost all times. If you need something, you might have to wait a few minutes to get a staff person's attention.

Liked: Very convenient location, excellent staff, pleasant atmosphere, all in all a very good choice.

Disliked: The 12 beds' dorm is too small for 12 people, but someone can say it's more than ok for the price, by Singapore standards, so... no real complains.

Liked: We had a very comfortable stay here, the staff were amazing and the hostel had a great atmosphere. The area it was in was great to. The only negative i would have would be that the toilet and shower area could be kept a little cleaner.

Disliked: Internet was $2 an hour but mainly the fact that the rooms had no windows and were packed full of as many bunks as possible.

Disliked: The dorm room full of humit air and messy Over 80% of Indian people live together,they're drinking every night until 3 o'clock

Liked: the only thing i liked was checking out of this place

Disliked: the palce is disgusting and definitley over priced, the rooms have a disgusting smell and none of the linene is ever changed, i had to argue to get a fresh sheet on my bed as all my legs had been bitten by bed bugs!!! was in a mixed dorm with 9 other men, it was terrible. the bathrooms were disgusting, never clean and no toilet roll and ants and beasties crawling everywhere, up the doors and walls of the shower! also there are 2 nightclubs next door with music pouring through the walls until the early hours soz impossible to sleep!!!!

Liked: The downstairs area was clean, breakfast was good.

Disliked: The bathrooms were not very clean and were very cramped, and the dorms were cramped and accomodated by people who seemed to be working from the hostel, not other travellers.

Liked: Happy to come back. Renovation made the place cool. Got the good sleep. Missed Kora.Shooping at Mutafa 24h/7 was great, everything at reasonable price. Love to come back when got chance.

Liked: Near MRT station, easy to go around. The lounge was comfy.

Disliked: All staff were very friendly and helpful, except there was a middle-aged (45 - 55ys old) male staff being very rude and dishonest, which's quiet a pity to this hostel.

Liked: Location is okay, chill-out area is open and big, price is really good.

Disliked: Breakfast was bread and coffee, too many long-term Indians living in the dorm (11 out of the 12 beds in my dorm were long term residents); not that there's anything wrong with that, but not a backpacker experience.
