Customer reviewHostel was very clean and beds very comfy! There was always a queue for the bathrooms (4 between about 30 people) and only one computer working. Very small communal area, so not great for solo travellers wanting to meet people. Location is 20 mins from nearest tube station, but close to shops and restaurants in little india. Would recommend for one/two nghts. |

Yoshitaka FukeLocated in walking distance from Queen st. Bus Terminal where the buses from Malaysia arrive. Mcdonalds, low price supermarket, local food restaurants are available in a few minutes. Well managed,cleaned-up by a friendly woman. Good value hostel. |

Customer reviewI had e-mailed the property twice to state that i was cutting my stay down, didn't hear back from them, when we arrived the staff hadn't receaved anything they kept telling me that i should have rung but when it states to contact the hostel directally on all of the other 7 hostels i've stayed in in the past 2 months everything has been done over e-mail. The male member of staff was very rude. he wanted a copy of the e-mail i had sent so i printed them off and he wanted me to pay for the printing for him! We had booked a 4 bed dorm and you think that in a 4 bed dorm it would be four persons but when we got into the room we found two other male guests a double bed and a single bed, we are a group of three girls. two of our group had to share a bed would they of made two lads share a bed? If it is somewhere just to sleep its fine the beds are comfitable |

Roberto SisonThe only problem was that the directions to the hotel had major errors. Instead of saying turn RIGHT to Jalan Sultan, it said turn LEFT. So we got lost and had to walk so far before we realized the directions were wrong. We wasted about an hour trying to locate the hotel. |

Thi Hong Nhung Chueverything is ok, but the blankets is a little bit small. I'm not tall but i think it 's not enough length for me to cover whole my body. |

Customer reviewClean and conveniently located - would recommmend especially for short stay inbetween places, however not that much atmosphere and a bit cramped for longer term travellers. |

Joshua BabcockI arrived at Empire Residences fairly late at night, and was at first dismayed to see that the entrance was, quite literally, a hole in the wall. Ok, maybe not a "hole" per se; it was more of a door, really. After ringing the bell, I waited for only a few minutes before being ushered in up the long, shoe-lined staircase (guests are required to remove their footwear while inside the hostel) and expeditiously checked into a four-bed room. I was pleased with the simple check in/out process, the security of the location (which allowed me to worry about other things, such as where I would go and what I would see, instead of whether I would find my luggage intact when I returned), and the polite accommodation of the staff. The rooms were also quite comfortable, air-conditioned, and not at all overcrowded. I will most assuredly be staying there again on my next visit to Singapore. |

Customer reviewRooms are pretty small but come with Air con, linnen two (!) pillows and lockers. The kitchen and bathroom area seems brandnew and is clean. You can have a nice chat at the breakfast table but if you want to eat the provided cereals bring your own milk. I liked it. |
