Liked: I really like the size of the room (we had Sunny) and reception lounge. The good thing is it has loundry.

Disliked: I think that toilets could be a little bit cleaner.

Liked: The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Disliked: We stayed in a double room. The walls are thin so we could hear sounds from next door. The lock is not tightly screwed to the door. No CCTV on my floor. (I had checked every corner and did not find any camera) No telephone in my room (I cannot call for help in case of danger). The toilet is very small.

Liked: Great hostel in Little India!!! Nice lobby to hang out, free internet all over the place, basic breakfast to start your day, very clean, comfortable bed, nice staff ... overall very nice and guess I'll come!!!

Disliked: none, everything was fine!

Liked: It was clean, the aircon was good, the staff was friendly, I got to check in earlier than the said time.

Disliked: It was quite expensive (though not on the Singaporean scale).

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were good - free wi fi, laundry facilities, breakfast, drinks available to buy. We had a twin room with shared bathroom with was very nice and never had to wait to use the bathroom. Hostel was clean and well organised.

Disliked: The location was a little further out than we realised although transport links were good.

Liked: The rooms, toilets & showers were clean. There was free internet use, although this was limited to 15minutes at a time. However, there was free wifi available which you could get in your rooms as well as the lobby. The free breakfast was nice and simple; toast with butter, jams or peanut butter & tea or coffee. The hostel is situated right next to little india and about a 5 minute walk from the MRT.

Disliked: Our flight was delayed into Singapore by 2 days and we contacted Fernloft to let them know our situation & that we were still wanting the room we had reserved. We did not recieve any form of reply from Fernloft and when we arrived they had deleted us off their system and had given away our double room. There were also no other double available. The man at reception and the manager were not very helpful with our situation and tried to blame us for our room being given away even though we were willing to pay for the nights we were not there for. Luckily for us, another guest over heard us who had 4 nights booked at the hostel but was wanting to move to a hotel so we were able to buy the room of of him. There is a funny smell in the stairwell and in the rooms but its not too much of a problem.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hostel was safe and had a relaxed atmosphere. The air conditioning and breakfast provided was greatly appreciated.

Disliked: No windows. It must be a Singapore thing. There were no windows in the room we had which sometimes felt quite claustrophobic.

Liked: Free internet, breakfast included.

Disliked: A cell of a dorm, no window, 6 beds- despite the fact it was meant to be only a 4 person dorm. Bad place to be stuck with jet lag. Promoted its cleanliness, but found long hairs all over my bed sheets (had them replaced). Average bathroom- typical Asian shower over toilet.

Liked: Really like their staff, very helpfull to me and my friend. Specially for direction. And they even let us check in before our time, coz they know we're exhausted from our previous trip from Malaysia. Really love this hostel.

Disliked: To bad i lost my slipper while we were out. I didn't find it when we're back that night!

Liked: The lockers in the dorms and the showers\bathroom.

Disliked: The lack of a proper area to relax and watch tv of your choosing. The fact that the wifi was not very strong in the dorm. The wrong information given by the staff.

Liked: Good location, easy to get anywhere in the city. Room was clean.

Disliked: Staff not the best, were not always around so had to wait ages on a couple of occasions. Only one shower/bathroom on the floor we stayed on so had to wait to use it.

Liked: The main lobby is very nice. Internet is free. Staff was helpful.

Disliked: Bed linen didn't look clean (fresh), TWC wasn't clean either. Walls in our room were very dirty. There was no toilet paper in our floor.
