Liked: Good location, easy to get anywhere in the city. Room was clean.

Disliked: Staff not the best, were not always around so had to wait ages on a couple of occasions. Only one shower/bathroom on the floor we stayed on so had to wait to use it.

Liked: The main lobby is very nice. Internet is free. Staff was helpful.

Disliked: Bed linen didn't look clean (fresh), TWC wasn't clean either. Walls in our room were very dirty. There was no toilet paper in our floor.

Liked: We had a double room, which was quiet, clean and good value for money. The hostel is only a short walk to restaurants, shops and the MRT (Farrer Park).

Liked: Of all the places Ive stayed in Singapore,this was the best!This place has just opened....its right on Jl.Besar between The Welcome Inn and TheTresor Tavern......dont bother with either of the other two.....this is the one tostay at.Its cool,comfortable and economical!......AND its got a lift!!!.....no morestruggling with your bags up flights of stairs after your other flights....this isDelux....and air-conditioned too...all the time!!Other hostels turn the air-con on at 8pm!!.... when you get back after a hot,tiringday at 6pm...... guess what...you have to sweat till 8......no thanks.Fernloft isprofessionally run by good,guenuinely friendly people...and whats more its even gota travel agency desk in it too where they will arrange any tour you mightlike.....Night Safari,Sentosa etc etc.This place is easy to find.....well located between Lavender MRT and Farrer ParkMRT....andtheres a bus stop right across the road where you can catch a bus into to twn only 3stops away......or you can walk to the Sim Lim Tower.Clean & comfortable beds......its all brand new.Free internet......and breakfast.Hot showers......and,and they've got 20 This will save you the bother and disappointment of checking out of the others.Enjoy.

Liked: Very accessible especially if you want to move around the city. The bus stop is just meters away the hostel. There is a free internet access which is limited to 15 minutes per user. Common toilets/showers are allocated accordingly to various rooms, so even if you wait a bit, as long as you are not in a hurry, you get to take your turn. Hot water is available. The staff, Jarica, is very helpful. Expect though that at times, the toilet/shower room may be messy if other guest used it successively -- the cleaner has a schedule of cleaning it. But in general, it's good value for your money.
