Liked: The staff are really friendly and helpful. They made the stay special! Andrew is a great host, always chatty and given you advise. Great location - right in the heart of china town, easy access to the whole city.

Disliked: No real communal area to meet people.

Disliked: the toilet and bathroom is together, so unconvenient in the morning.

Disliked: This hostel is too expensive for what they offer. There was only one toilet/shower and it was never very clean. There were always people shouting on the corridor outside so I could never get to sleep before 4:00am. I ended up finding another hostel that was much better and half the price.

Liked: I like the way the staff provides what we need and the accommodation they gave us. I really enjoyed my stay there with my fiancée.Thank you.

Disliked: The truth is I really love the place and environment. But in the first time we have difficulties on finding the hostel, because of so many buildings and stores.

Liked: Very helpful staff and it was cleaned numerous times a day. Also ideal location in chinatown very close to markets, shops etc and MRT stations. Aircon!

Disliked: Only one shower/toilet for the whole hostel. Cramped dorm and locker key didn't work in locker. Also no communal space.

Liked: Staff are very friendly and helpful, were happy to help me when I arrived at 3am.

Disliked: There are no common areas for people to hang out, and there are limited bathrooms.

Liked: I caught bacterial enteritis in Malaysia, and when I came back to Serviceworld the lady running it was immensely nice and really helped me out in a tight spot. She went out to buy medicine for me when I was too weak to leave the bed and brought water and tea to rehydrate me. She even brought in a doctor she knew to come see me. Easily the best staff I've ever met in any hostel.

Disliked: The only thing I would have liked is more bathrooms, but that's a limitation that cannot easily be changed.

Liked: Great location

Disliked: Only one toilet/shower on way too many guests. Huge construction site right outside the hostel, where you had to eat your breakfast.

Liked: In the centre of china town and a few minutes walk from the mrt it is a perfect location to see all Singapore has to offer.

Disliked: The only communal space is the balcony outside so not a great place to meet people.

Disliked: Very cramped rooms and facilities, and the staff were hard to find at times. The breakfast was barely toast and jam.

Liked: The location is perfect especially if you are into bargain goods, souvenirs & cheap food. Its walking distance to Chinatown & Outram MRT Station, therefore its so easy to go places. Brochures about Singapore, Chinatown maps & MRT maps are plenty. The rooms are clean and the filipina staff named Karen are very helpful. She taught us where we can have cheaper meals, buy souvenir items & even how & where to take MRT to go places like Vivo City & others. I will surely recommend this place to friends & I will definitely stay at Service World again.

Liked: Staff super, et specialement KAren et Andrew, le proprio. Mais le dortoir est cher, on peut entendre tous les bruits du couloir exterieur comme si on etait dehors, ce qui est tres dommageable pour le sommeil. Salle de bains OK mais juste une pour 3 dortoirs et tres petite. Le petit dej est tres tard puisqu'il commence a 8h30!. Mais location bien, a 5 mins a pied de la station MRT Outram Park, hyper pratique pour l'aeroport et surtout toutes les attractions de Singapore.Je le recommande meme si cela reste tres cher pour ce que c'est.

Liked: Quite hard to find, it's tiny with just one big dorm of 10 beds! But very clean and there's free wifi and free toast in the morning!

Liked: One of most cleanst hostel I ever seen, but I have to say one bathroom isn't just nrough to share for all the guest, other wise good location ,1 minute to chinatown shops.
