Liked: The hostess was really friendly and helped me however she could. Besides that the people I met in the hostel were quite nice and open, more so than other countries I have recently visited. I would recommend this hostel due to its location, close to the MRT, and therefore practically the whole city and the relaxed atmosphere. Also there's a large collection of movies if you just want to chill out and escape the heat outside.

Liked: The most unfriendly staff i ever met... And what is is about paying 10% servicecharge on top of the overprised hostel???Not a place i will ever stay again!!

Liked: While I have recommended this hostel I wouldn't stay there again. It was clean, neat and the facilities were fine, it is also right next to the train station. That being said, if you had heavy luggage like we did and a bad back (like I do) you have to lug it up several flights of stairs to your room which I found a bit difficult, also there is not enough shoe rack space so shoes are often all over the floor on the landing making it hard to not trip while carrying cases etc. We also found that taxi drivers did not want to go there at night. Whether it was because of the distance from town or because of the area's reputation I don't know. A number of local people told us we shouldn't stay in that area as it was a bad area but we didn't really see or have any problems but then again, we only stayed one night went straight into town by taxi and when we couldn't get one back took the train back so we didn't spend a lot of time there. For most backpacking types I think this would be a fine place to stay but for the money my friend and I thought there were better, closer accommodation options.

Liked: Fantastic location, literally 1min walk to Aljunied station, but you dont hear the train from the hostel too much.Breakfast included was a bonus, theres a fridge internet, (when working)The hostel itself was very clean in the dorms, but it was a bit of a dingy staircase leading to it, you didnt really know what you were getting yourself in for! The hostel was accesible to anyone during the day as the front door was never locked, but at night the doors were locked and everyone gets there own locker which was an everage size.

Liked: The location is good and the rooms and toilets are clean. There is a free internet, but it's VERY slow or then there is no connection at all. The breakfast is a joke. There is only white bread with marmelade. No-one wants to eat that! There are cereals too, but no milk (it costs extra).
