Liked: I was at room 2 at 3rd floor. The place was quiet clean, room complete with 2 pillow, 1 blanket, Air conditioner. Shared room with 6 other people from different country. There's also laundry (paid), free wifi, 2 shower n 2 toilets with shower that shared with others, free breakfast (bread, strawberry jam, chocolate jam, coffee, tea, milo, cereal). Location very near to Geylang MRT station, near to restaurant, far away from prostituted area (so it's safe for me, girl to go alone there)

Disliked: the old lady was very angry when i'm use the dining room for chat on 11 pm. So u must follow the rule to get safe at that place. Only use computer on 6 am to 11 pm, 20 minutes/person (except theres no one else that want to use it, but if u bring ur laptop, better use wifi), no turn on the light, no stay at lobby/dining room at 11 pm.

Liked: It was clean, friendly and right next to the aljunied station to enter the main city.

Disliked: Quiet and wasnt many people to meet

Liked: Location was very good. 5 minute walk to the Alljunied MRT station and lots of places to eat near by.

Liked: Close to the MRT so good for the airport. Free internet (though was unreliable). Clean comfy beds. Was quieter on the second floor which was better for us.

Disliked: Toilet set up wasn't great and it was mixed. Clean enough tho and ok for a couple of nights.

Liked: loverly staff cant do enough to help you, good location right next to mrt station and clean and safe great place to have a good nights sleep! only down side no bar or bar near, but thats minor!

Liked: The thing I most liked was its large common room where 8-10 people can comfortably hang around in. Other hostels I tried only had room for 4 or 5 guests at a time. The landlady was kind and accommodating.

Disliked: Limited number and variety of nearby eateries/restaurants/convenience stores in the area compared to hostels in other, more densely populated areas like Chinatown or Clark Quay.

Liked: This hostel is near from the station and is convenient. It recommends to the person who wants to travel cheaply in Singapore. Surroundings are a lot of Chinese restaurants and were not embarrassed with meal.

Disliked: The entrance is not understood easily.

Liked: Location was perfect for exploring and getting to/from airport. Staying here reminded me of being back in student halls, but a lot cleaner. The full kitchen was useful. All the facilities made it a comfortable stay. The lady owner was helpful.

Liked: Excellent location!!!Toilets are cleanWashing machines are new as announced, but I never had to use them.

Disliked: Unexpected key deposit of 50$. Toilets are very small and doors won't lock. I had trouble finding the hostel because the hostel banner did not attract my attention. The entrance leave a bad impression: the banner announcing the hostel is old, dirty. See for yourself: http://tinypic.com/r/k2o6ki/7 . Stairs also are dirty and smell bad as well. Sadly all room are facing the communal area and thus we could hear very well the people arriving late at night and waking up early.

Liked: I like this place, because location is very good, near to MRT station, from I can get to many places in Singapore. Also very clean place and chance to meet others backpackers, who are travelling aslo. Including this price is breakfast for free, so I think, if I go to Singapore again (of course I will), I would like to stay in this place again :)

Liked: Very convenient location. Cheap eateries nearby open til late.

Disliked: The hostess could have been more pleasant on arrival. She got things all mixed up and palmed the blame on. She was more warming as you get to know her - perhaps just a bad hair day.

Liked: Nothing, the owner was rude to me, I left after just 5 hours.

Disliked: Its in a horrible road, the owner is rude, they didnt welcome me at all and I was shouted at by the owner for arriving at the time I told her I would (2am) which she had forgotten about. I had to bang on the door for 15 mins until someone let me in and then I sat on the couch for 5 hours till someone came to get me (no exaggeration), then I was shouted at and told I should pay $10 because I sat on the couch! This is the worst hostel I've ever been to. Should be taken off hostelworld.

Disliked: Mess - so much stuff everywhere, not really clean. No window in the bedroom.
