Liked: The guy who runs this place was very friendly and helpful. Although we only stayed for one night with huge luggage, he helped us bring it all up to the 5th floor and the next day down. He also helped us with useful information about traffic, places to go to eat, to go out etc. The place itself is very clean, well equipped and with interesting design. I reccommend City Break Hostel to all young travellers and I will also stay there the next time I visit Belgrade!

Disliked: The downfall of this hostel is that it is situated on the 5th floor with no elevator.

Liked: Das Hostel ist sehr modern und ordentlich. Es war immer jemand vor Ort, der für Fragen zur Verfügung stand.

Disliked: Die Wegbeschreibung vom Bahnhof stimmt leider nicht genau und ist auch sehr unspezifisch. Man soll die Tram schon nach der 1. Haltestelle verlassen und nicht erst nach der 2. Dann muss man sich auf dem Square nach links wenden und der Straße bis zur Hausnummer 41 folgen. Dauert etwa 10 Minuten. Das Hostel ist ganz oben im letzten Stock.

Liked: Excellent hostel, you feel at home thanks to Vlad. He will tell you all you need to know and more about Belgrade. You can hang and have a joke with him too. Always clean, perfect bathrooms, good air conditioner (which you definitely need in summer), big tvs, kitchen with all you need. Great location, close to city center and transport.

Liked: The interior decor and layout resembles an expensive hotel rather than what might be expected from a hostel. It is clean and tidy with access to a computer terminal and free wi/fi if required. Vladimir who ably manages the establishment went out of his way to help make my stay as enjoyable as possible. His patience was legendary as many of my inquiries pretty much constituted dumb questions so, naturally, his keen sense of humour makes him ideally suited to his job. I can recommend this hostel without a moment's hesitation to anyone travelling to Beograd.

Liked: Vladamir (the owner) went above and beyond the call of duty. He managed to reserve us two places in one of the busiest night clubs in Beograd on a Saturday night. The hostel itself is very clean and the facilities are superb (the reason we couldn't give it 100% is that the shower was slightly broken and their was no air conditioning (see below). The kitchen and bathroom furnishings on the whole were excellent).

Disliked: As stated above, the room had no air conditioning. The temperature hit around 37 degrees whilst we were there so this made sleeping comfortably a slight issue. The only other slight qualm was a lack of clear signposting of the hostel's name outside of the building. I raise this concern, not that it was an issue for us, but instead to urge those using this hostel to note the building's number, as from outside it looks less of a modern hostel and more a decrepit, old block of eerie flats.

Liked: Vlad the guys that runs is a great bloke. keeps the place super clean and is good for a laugh. upstairs has it own lounge with cable and good wifi which was good to chill out.

Liked: We stayed at CityBreak Hostel witch was lovely, clean and perfect for short stay. The hostel location is ideal and everything is easily reachable! No elevator thought, but the stairs are good exercise :) Our room was very cheerful and the bed was very comfortable. I also loved the relaxing and comfortable chairs in the TV room :) Everything about staff and the place was super nice. Vlada treated us like friends he knew for a long time and helped us to taste the sweetness of Belgrade, showed us the easiest way to get wherever we wanted and gave us advises about everything that we asked him for. We simply loved the spirit of the hostel and the recommendations we got about restaurants, coffee bars and clubs... We loved it, we had great time there and we would definitely recommend CityBreak to all good people in the world :)
