Liked: The family that own this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay (despite the fact that it was a national holiday weekend and I was only resident in the hostel). You couldn't get a nicer location and the nearby pubs and restaurants while touristy lend to nice atmosphere, though I am informed that area is normally busier so it might be crowded in height of Summer. As some other reviews mentioned there isn't a full kitchen but it is perfect for breakfast, light lunches etc and the shared area has a nice atmosphere but with all the great food options around the city I barely ate there anyway.

Liked: The owners stayed awake for my train to arrive, although I was the only person to book the hostel that night (January 7). The hostel was extremely clean and the atmosphere easily lent itself to socializing for the guests. Unfortunately, the heater was broken so the owners gave me juice, talked with me a bit and then drove me to another hostel nearby. This says to me that the owners of Zetska 5 have great integrity and truly care that their guests have a wonderful stay in Belgrade. Having stayed at 10+ hostels now, I can say from my (limited) experience with the hostel and staff that this is one of the best hostels I've seen. I highly recommend Zetska 5.

Liked: the hostel owners are husband and wife and they are very friendly and more then happy to help you with anything. bit hard to find but in a really good location . right next to lots of great resturants and a couple of great bars and coffee house.. try the red bar round the corner for beer or coffee..

Liked: Comfy beds, good location, nice sized social area.

Disliked: No cooking facilities, inaccurate description, weird uncomfortable blankets, it just generally doesn't look finished! If you go for a room with two beds, don't expect there to be anything more than two beds, two lamps and a small table in it, with nowhere to really put your luggage.

Liked: Bang in the middle of Skadarlija, and close to the heart of the city – but still down a quiet side street – it really couldn't be better placed to get a great slice of Belgrade. We got the deluxe double, which was practically a flat in itself, and at times felt more like staying around a friend's house than a hostel. The chap in charge was really friendly and helpful, and up for a chat - which is always nice. There's a full lounge with TV and internet access, plus a bit of a kitchen and constant hot water.

Disliked: There was an awful lot of mosquitos about, so bring the repellent. The wi-fi didn't always stretch up to our room - but that's hardly a beef as it's no trouble to move a few feet. You could hear the turbofolk faintly pumping out of the nearby (and quaintly named) Only Fools And Horses bar for most of the night. No problem for us, but some may baulk at it.

Liked: Total city center of Beograde,new and nice made property, very good personel. Provide us with free map, Very cosy and funny place to stay at a good price.L

Disliked: Lack of free private parking. A lit bit scary in the nights, because of many drunken young people around the hotel.

Liked: The hostel is in a wonderful location, walking distance to most things. The hostel was very quiet while I was there, it's a great place if you want to chill out for awhile as it has a lot of areas to do your own thing.

Disliked: It's does say the rooms have air con, I stayed in a twin single room this room didn't have air con. The room was also very small, it just fit the 2 single beds in so once you added to large backpacks there wasn't much room to move. It would be good if the beds were a little higher so you could put the bags under the bed.

Liked: Staff was so friendly. Even on our last day although we checked out they accepted keeping our stuffs. Additionally it was very enjoyable to talk with staffs.

Liked: Just about everything I can think of. The location could hardly be better, the people are incredibly nice (friendly and happy to chat about Serbia and Yugoslavia), the room was as described, AC when we asked for it, good showers and bathrooms, a nice common room (basement) and a separate sitting area upstairs with a couch and some bean bag chairs, check in/out was easy, etc.

Disliked: The kitchen was a bit limited (though completely functional, as far as I could tell) as was breakfast. But there are some great (and cheap) food options nearby - a good Chinese place across the street, a really cheap sausage to-go place up Skadarska, and of course all the things in Skadarlija itself (maybe not so cheap) so the limitations are easily mitigated.

Liked: Very friendly atmosphere. Perfect location. They also offered us a great lunch! Fridge was always full! Internet free!

Disliked: It's not necessary to wake up guests 30 minutes before the check out! : )

Liked: It is placed very close to the Republic Square, which is in the Center of Belgrade, and only 10 meters away from Skadarska, the cosy and beautiful bohemean street. The Staff at the Zetska Hostel are gentle and very kind, and they know a lot of culture and history, in which they would like to share with you.

Disliked: It is not open 24 hours - which can be a problem, if you ex. wants to do the check-in on a time where they ex. are sleeping. But after check-in, it isnt a problem anymore, because then youll get the key to the maindoor too.

Liked: I loved this place and ended up staying 2 nights. It's got a welcoming and homely feel which I really needed. The staff are so friendly and the hostel is brand new and facilities are great. Plenty of showers (they are awesome and big) and toilets and both are always clean. Perfect location. It's not a party hostel but somewhere to get a bit of tlc.

Liked: The hostel is in a great location and with the new signs that were being painted it should be nice and easy to find now. The owners were very friendly and helpful and kept bringing goodies like local cheese and what seemed like an endless supply of Rakia down to the kitchen. There are lots of bathrooms and showers.

Liked: Quiete, spacy place with big cosy common-room and very friendly staff. Location is very central, a few steps away from famous "skadarska"-street, 5 minutes walk to the central square (trg republika). It ain't a party hostel, but you can enjoy your stay a lot there.
