Liked: clean and modern structure. Full service with nice staff.

Disliked: small bathroom, showers' hot water is not the best. Noisy from the lounge can reach some rooms.

Liked: It is perfect for short business trip. I didn't spend to much time in a hostel, but it is clean, well located and I really didn't expect so much comfort from the hostel, that I got in this one. Very kind hosts

Liked: Everything! Modern, clean, relaxing. Staff is great, provided me with a lot of useful information and tips. They even booked me and my boyfriend the entrance in a popular club! Really enjoyed and will come again for sure

Liked: friendly and helpful receptionists, free breakfast, nice beds and sheets, air conditioning.

Disliked: it's the northern part of the centre so still within walking distance of most things but the bar barges are the other way so it's a moderate walk back or a taxi which actually shouldn't be that expensive. it was a very quiet hostel the few nights i was there but so were a lot of hostels apparently - summer is over already :(

Liked: As a travel writer I stay in a lot of hostels. There are very few which I will give 100% ratings, however, Spirit Hostel is one of the very few exceptions as everything there is excellent. Beds are very comfortable, lockers in rooms are large, there are plenty of bath facilities so little wait time. The owners and staff are wonderful, helpful and will take care of what you need. The entire hostel is air conditioned.

Disliked: If there was one down side it would be the small size of the kitchen area but then you are not going to Belgrade for cooking are you.

Liked: very nice place.. I arrived there after driving by car from vienna for the whole day. katharina the receptionist, offered me a piece of her pizza and juice just so and was helpfull with everything... it was opened end of 2009, so it's new, very clean, has aircondition in every room, internet is for free (wifi and computer), they even have a printer to print to print for free :) so I would definitly come here again...

Liked: This place is fantastic! The staff are so friendly, the rooms are amazing - very large, shower is grand, bathroom (actually everything) spotless. I staying in one of the dorms that has a little kitchenette in the room for making tea/ coffee etc. The dorm also had its own fridge - very handy! Large TV and a computer in the dorm room as well. You have your own locker which is quite large. Also the hostel provides you with a lovely fluffy dressing gown and slippers - nice touch! I was welcomed to the hostel with a drink and a chat - the atmosphere was very friendly. You get your own key to both the front door and the dorm (other places I've stayed there is a communal key). There is a lift to get to the 4th floor where the hostel is located. There is lots of information at the hotel about things to do/ see and the hotel staff were very helpful with suggestions. I will stay here again.

Disliked: The only thing I would say is if you are coming from the train station it's probably best to get a taxi (I paid 7 euros for a taxi from the hostel to the train station). The walk is about 40 mins and there are a couple of hills, but the main difficulty is the lack of street signs and where there is a street sign it's written in the cyrillic script - so unless you can read this you might get lost!

Liked: I only stayed for one night, but it was one of the most pleasent hostel experiences in my life. So modern, clean and well located hostel. Great music all around the place, fantastic bathrooms, bathrobes, slippers, even the breakfast included. The staft is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Thumbs up!

Liked: atmosphere - sterile, staff - disinterested but good for first 10 mins, location - not that close, clean -110%, safe - definately. fun - thank god for other guests, sorry but i actuley changed hostels after 2 days of boredom and noise in my private room, music in hallways @ 8am, justin beiber to wake you up, lady gaga to put you to sleep. Serbias top 20 back to back all day is just not cool.

Liked: Literally one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. New, modern, clean, and the perfect size to relax after sightseeing. The staff are extremely helpful and the rooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated with nice music playing throughout the hostel. Highly recommended!

Liked: This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. You almost feel like you're at a spa it's so nice. The staff are incredibly helpful, and spend loads of time with you telling you about the city, helping you find clubs, and just making sure you're happy. Really, this is definitely the place to stay in Belgrade.

Disliked: It's a bit far from city center, but still definitely walkable.
