Liked: The location in very good if you stay in Uig and take the ferry early in the morning.

Disliked: We had to wait form around 20 minutes in the reception of the hostel. We rang the bell several times, but the man in charge seemed to be sleeping and didn0t listen the bell.

Disliked: VERY small town, nothing to do, for a short stay it's perfect.

Liked: Amazing views, the location is unbeatable. Comfortable beds.

Disliked: A bit bigger window would have been nice in the room - but it was not disturbing.

Liked: The room are very spacious. Everywhere across the youth hostel, you'll have a sentiment of property (in the showers, in the kitchen, or in the main area).

Liked: Great location, nice kitchen and living room

Disliked: Rooms were clean but there was a little smell around. Rooms had little character. They closed the kitchen at 10am sharp, which is a bit of a pain

Liked: clean, calm. good staff, complete self catering kitchen(get your own eggs)

Disliked: no charging points in rooms(although this could be for safety reasons), a little steep drive up from the main road..

Liked: location for ferry to outer hebrides. bus stops outside hostel. friendly and helpful staff. spotless. great kitchen facilities. fantastic view. have homemade meals filled rolls etc and frozen homemade meals for micro or oven and some other things to buy ie toiletries. great views to ferry. pub and hotel nearby within walking distance. overall. 100%. will be back and would recommend it. cheers

Liked: It has a great view on the town and the lake, it is not far from the main road and has enough parking space.

Disliked: You could be serving meals, but it was not the problem with us.

Liked: Both Will and Amanda who run the hostel are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing is to much trouble for them. The hostel is well organised and is a good place to meet other travellers. It's just a little bit out of the way in terms of location. The only downside is that there is only one shower in the ladies and gents which can make things difficult in the mornings and evening if you are in a hurry.
